Mondon is the third-ranked linebacker in the nation and third-ranked prospect in the state of Georgia. The top 50 player nationally is projected to sign with the Georgia Bulldogs according to the Crystal Ball prediction on his 247 profile.
Mondon becomes the eighth outside linebacker offered by Texas for the 2021 class. They have one commit at the position with Derrick Harris Jr out of New Caney, Texas.
