Texas Longhorns who won’t return in 2021 tracker

With 2020 winding down, there are plenty of Texas Longhorns who are making the decision on whether or not to return in 2021.

The Texas Longhorns have plenty of players who are making decisions on their future. Some are choosing to return for another year due to the NCAA’s decision to allow seniors to return for another season. While others are making the decision to return instead of declaring for the NFL Draft. Then you have players entering the transfer portal or heading to the NFL Draft. There are a lot of moving parts.

Let’s start with who will be back in 2021:

  • Cade Brewer, TE
  • Denzel Okafor, OL
  • Tope Imade, OL
  • DeMarvion Overshown, LB
  • Juwan Mitchell, LB

The jury is still out on senior quarterback Sam Ehlinger, however many feel that it is a foregone conclusion that he will indeed leave for the NFL. Others who have yet to make a decision include Derek Kerstetter, who will be coming off an injury that required surgery.
