One of the keys to beating Oklahoma State is going to be playing sound football in space. Something that the Texas defense has struggled with this year. With Chuba Hubbard and LD Brown, they will be challenged in space which means they need the best game from weakside linebacker DeMarvion Overshown.

In their two losses this season, Overshown was credited with 10 missed tackles. If they let Hubbard continue to thrive on yards after contact, it will be a long day for Chris Ash and this defense. Of Hubbard’s 478 yards rushing, 254 yards have come after contact. The defense and Overshown need to bring him down on first contact more often than not to have a chance.
