Linebackers

Jordan Hicks

Jordan Hicks starts off our linebackers having played for five seasons from 2010-2014. During that time he tallied 248 total tackles, 22.5 TFL, 5.5 sacks and two interceptions. The former USA Today High School All-American never received any accolades at the college level. He currently plays in the NFL for the Arizona Cardinals.

Steve Edmond

Edmond is probably the lesser know of the linebacker trio in terms of national recognition. He registered 264 total tackles, 18.5 TFL, 8.5 sacks and three interceptions. Edmond played for Texas from 2012-2014.

Malik Jefferson

Jefferson spent three years wearing burnt orange. In that time from 2015-2017, he tallied 231 total tackles, 26 TFL and 13 sacks. Jefferson added two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. His accomplishments include Second-Team All-American in 2017 when he was also the Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Jefferson is currently on the Los Angeles Chargers roster in the NFL.
