Texas will travel to Lubbock on Saturday to begin Big 12 conference play. Over the past decade, the Longhorns won all five of their road games against Texas Tech. Hopefully, the 2020s continue the wins over the Red Raiders.
Going into the game, Texas will have a couple of questions to answer. The Longhorns looked better against UTEP than Texas Tech did against Houston Baptist. However, moving into a conference play will be a different story than nonconference play.
We know Texas’ offense is going to have a solid day. Chris Ash’s defense and how well they hold up will become the main concern. Alan Bowman led an efficient attack against the Huskies and the Longhorns will need to slow Matt Well’s offense down.
