Darion Dunn
The second transfer to appear on this list, Darion Dunn, comes from McNeese State after not playing during the 2020 season. Tom Herman’s staff was able to flip Dunn from Florida State before he signed in December. The defensive back was first-team All-Southland Conference in 2019 after recording five interceptions and 16 passes defended.
Dunn is a versatile defensive back, being able to play corner, safety or nickelback. There are multiple players who could arguably be ahead of the transfer, but his skills are too good to keep off the field. With Pete Kwiatkowski loving to run nickel defense, Dunn will find his way onto the field at one position or another.
