Like the offense line, the defensive line will remain the same for the third consecutive game. Ta’Quon Graham has emerged as the leader, recording 2.0 tackles for loss in Lubbock. He and Keondre Coburn have been solid up the middle. Moro Ojomo must generate more production from the outside.

DeMarvion Overshown played all 79 snaps at weakside linebacker, becoming the staple of the linebacking core. Juwan Mitchell did the same, forming a partnership to build in the future. At JACK, Joseph Ossai remains the starter but has not had the production we expected coming into the season. Converted tight end Reese Leitao remains the favorite backup JACK over Jeff Bush.

Chris Adimora played an exceptional game for the Longhorns, securing an interception and defending two passes. Overall, it was a rough day for the secondary, having trouble tackling and defending Matt Well’s air raid attack. Seeing B.J. Foster get playing time will be significant after he reportedly quit the team.
