In such a time of uncertainty and fear, the Texas Longhorns social media department has done an impeccable job of attempting to keep the spirits high in Austin.
The Longhorns released a video on Wednesday via Twitter that reminded us of better days ahead. Former Texas quarterback Colt McCoy narrated the short clip, where he reiterated the meaning of Texas fight.

McCoy expressed to Longhorns fans to keep their horns up. As the college football season inches closer, there’s no clear understanding of what type of impact COVID-19 will have on the fall schedule.
Regardless, McCoy echoes that the rich tradition surrounding Texas football will not be forgotten. The ‘Eyes of Texas’ will be shouted in a full Darrell K. Royal stadium, the tower will be lit after a big win, and we’ll all have the ability enjoy the happiness of sports again.
Whenever that day comes.
