New defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski is already capitalizing off the recruiting weekend extravaganza.
After hosting over 20 players over the weekend, the Longhorns landed their first commitment after the visit.
Anthony Jones, a 2022 three-star athlete out of Las Vegas, Nevada, loved his experience on the Forty Acres enough to announce his commitment to Texas on Saturday over Oregon and Miami. He was once committed to University of Washington but decommitted in February.

Jones measures in at 6-foot-5, 240-pounds and is expected to play linebacker for the Longhorns. Texas’ 2022 class is now ranked No. 8 in the nation by 247Sports after Jones’ commitment.
The Sark Train is rolling, and it very well could start going full steam ahead in the recruiting world.
