Texas guard [autotag]Courtney Ramey[/autotag] has announced his intentions to test NBA draft waters along with keeping his collegiate options open by entering the NCAA transfer portal.
Ramey is one of the most experienced players in college basketball. The senior has played in 128 games in his four years at Texas, averaging 10 points per game in his career. Ramey became one of the Big 12 conference’s best defenders, anchoring a Texas defense that finished No. 10 in the nation.
He played a major role in Texas’ 2019 NIT championship, 2021 Big 12 tournament title, and helped win the program’s first March Madness game since 2014 this year.

Chirs Beard is still awaiting decisions from his other guards Marcus Carr and Andrew Jones. Five-star Arterio Morris and four-star Rowan Brumbaugh are two talented guards set to join the program in the summer.
