It felt too easy to name Sarkisian here since he is technically calling the plays for Texas. In my opinion, his offensive mind will be the biggest difference maker in 2021.

However, if we’re looking at true positional coaches, I believe Bo Davis has the ability to make an immediate impact for the Longhorns defensive line unit. Not only can he produce results on the field, Davis is also a solid relationship guy that will help build a new culture within this program.

Sarkisian noted that Davis is an excellent recruiter but more importantly is a tremendous developer of talent. Davis previously coached defensive tackles under Mack Brown (2011-2013) and had three different players produce double digit sack performances in a single season. Since his departure, Texas had had zero players reach that feat.
