What Longhorns Wire says
Head coach Tom Herman has not shied away from praising the true freshman running back. He has pointed to Bijan on multiple occasions as a player who could see action early on. Robinson is an all-around back who can be a weapon. Obviously his production in Arizona speaks for itself. As a runner, he can punish you with physicality or make you miss and it is off to the races. However, you shouldn’t discount what he does as a receiver either.
Oh my Bijan Robinson with an INCREDIBLE one-handed grab for the 19-yard gain #VXLive pic.twitter.com/afE83aj4ub

He shows off the soft hands with the one-handed grab here and it isn’t the only time that Robinson has pulled that off. However, what is great about his play is that it is only going to get better. His running back coach Stan Drayton has worked with highly touted backs in the past and they only improved under him. Current Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott worked with Drayton at Ohio State. Elliott raved about his development under Drayton.
“He’s really the reason why I’m here today and why I’m the back I am today.” – @EzekielElliott on @StanDraytonUT #VerifiedPlayerTestimony✅ pic.twitter.com/oVFFt9LK0N

That is high praise coming from a running back that was already viewed as one of the top coming out of high school. Bijan Robinson has some of the same traits that Ezekiel Elliott had. If his development is on par with Elliott, then Bijan should make quite a name for himself at the University of Texas.
