This point goes hand in hand with the offense being more consistent. However, the offense has to protect the football better. In their two losses, the Longhorns have only given up six points on turnovers. The special teams has given up more but both the special teams and offense are putting their defense in precarious positions. Much the reasons they are giving up 47.3 points per game in conference play.

Ehlinger has to do a better job of limiting his interceptions. While that has never been a huge issue for Sam, these things are exacerbated when your football team is struggling. Ingram needs to protect the ball better as well. This team has shown the ability to be better than what they are showing on the field. Now they just have to prove it to themselves and their teammates with a solid performance against Baylor.
