Texas climbing up the 2023 recruiting class ranks

Arch Manning’s commitment has Texas moving up the recruiting ranks.

Summer recruiting is starting to heat up in a huge way.

The Longhorns have built a whirlwind of momentum in recent weeks with the commitments of three-star tight end Will Randle and five-star quarterback Arch Manning.

With the commitment of Manning, Texas is up four spots in 247Sports’ recruiting class rankings for 2023. The Longhorns now have the No. 20 rated class in the country with eight commitments.

Crystal ball projections in favor of the Longhorns continue to roll in all over the place. Five-star wide receiver Johntay Cook and four-star running back Cedric Baxter Jr are both trending towards Texas of late.

Texas is keeping a steady slate of top prospects visiting through the month of June. Five-star linebacker Anthony Hill headlines a strong group checking out the campus and facilities on the weekend of June 24.
