Getting the run game going
The Longhorns have averaged 105 yards per game so far in 2020. With the three-headed running attack, the Longhorns expect a more concerted effort from that group. Not to mention Ehlinger can run the ball as well, he is currently third on the team in rushing and the only runner outside of Roschon Johnson to score a touchdown.
While it is only the third game of the season, Texas needs to get downhill against this Horned Frogs defense. When the Horns get the running game going, it makes it that much more difficult to defend this offense. With the return of Jake Smith against TCU, the running game could take advantage with the attention being focused on Smith.

With Bijan likely returning against TCU after that awkward fall, look for all three backs to be in the mix once again. Last week in their first game, TCU had issues defending the running attack from the Cyclones. They gave up a blistering 7.6 yards per carry on 28 carries against ISU. The big play was also there for ISU with touchdown runs of 75 and 49.
Look for the Longhorns to gain some traction in the run game and let Sam pick the bones of the defense in the pass game.
