Less than 24 hours away from kickoff between the Texas Christian Horned Frogs and Texas Longhorns, the home team still has plenty of questions despite a 2-0 start. Texas signal caller Sam Ehlinger said it best when he spoke with Mackenzie Salmon of USA TODAY Sports in regards to their expectation and areas of improvement.
I am really excited for the rest of the year and the development that we are capable of making. Obviously, we started the year off 2-0, but the mistakes and area of improvement is so large. We have such a great opportunity to get better every single day. – Ehlinger on expectations and improvements
The Longhorns were able to leave Lubbock with a win over Texas Tech, but it was far from a clean game. Even in wins, there are always things to clean up. There is always room for improves. Especially when you score 63 points and only win by one score. Ehlinger would even point to the fact that he needs to play better as the season moves on.
