Texas Basketball: Longhorns drop two spots in latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll

The Texas Longhorns dropped two spots to 16th overall in the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll.

The Texas Longhorns basketball team went 1-1 this past week in a pair of season sweeps, winning on Tuesday vs. the No. 17 Kansas Jayhawks in overtime and losing on Saturday against the No. 18 Texas Tech Red Raiders.

As a result, the Longhorns dropped two spots in the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, falling to No. 16 overall this week.

In addition to falling in the polls, the Texas also dropped to 8-6 in Big 12 play which now puts them at sixth in the conference standings.

The Longhorns have three scheduled games until the Big 12 tournament, starting with last place Iowa State on Tuesday.
