There was the alleged flirtation with Urban Meyer. Unrequited love? Either way, the former Ohio State coach won’t be guiding the Texas Longhorns n 2021.
The school’s VP and Athletic Director Chris Del Conte announced via a statement on Saturday Tom Herman will return as coach in 2021.

There had been much buzz about former Ohio State and Florida coach Urban Meyer and the Texas job. However, it seems — for now — that can be put to rest.
Meyer’s name also is mentioned with the USC job. The Trojans look to complete an undefeated regular season — albeit shortened — Saturday against UCLA.
