Texas continues to be in contention for some of the top players in the country.
For the 2025 class, the Longhorns are among the top schools for five-star EDGE Zion Grady. The Alabama native is rated the No. 1 EDGE in the nation and the No. 3 overall recruit in the state, according to 247Sports composite.
In 2022, Grady was named the Alabama Class 5A Lineman of the Year. He compiled 108 tackles, 27 quarterback hurries, 22 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Grady recently told On3 what he likes about each of his top schools and believes Texas has a bright future.
Texas is on the verge of something big and I would like to learn more regarding the program.
Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Oregon, Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, USC, and Louisville join Texas among his top 10 schools.
