Texas is gaining steam on the recruiting trail for the 2024 cycle.
It’s quite possible that Tashard Choice could land the top two running backs in the nation for the 2024 class. Texas is currently the heavy favorite to land the No. 1 running back in Jerrick Gibson, and now they’re included in the top seven schools for the No. 2 running back in Taylor Tatum.
Tatum is a four-star prospect out of Longview, Texas. 247Sports composite ranks Tatum as the No. 6 overall prospect in the state and the No. 33 recruit nationally.
His top seven schools consist of Michigan, Texas, USC, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Georgia and Oklahoma. As it stands currently, Michigan appears to be the favorite in his recruitment.
