Texans QB C.J. Stroud ranks second overall in fan voting for Pro Bowl

Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud trails only Tua Tagovailoa in fan votes for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud currently trails only one player in total number of votes from fans for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

As of Dec. 6, Stroud — with 44,095 fan votes — sits behind only Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (59,680 votes) among all NFL players.

Stroud, the second overall pick, has thrown 20 touchdown passes and five interceptions in 2023, and his 101.2 passer rating ranks fifth among all quarterbacks.

With Stroud at quarterback, the upstart Texans are 7-5 and currently in possession of a playoff spot in the AFC. Last year, the Texans finished 3-13-1. Stroud and first-year coach DeMeco Ryans have the Texans on a path toward a winning season for the first time since 2019.

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will be held in Orlando, Florida between Feb. 1-4.
