Adjusted expectations not a thing

Heading into 2020, the expectations for the Bills are high. Tom Brady is no long with the Patriots, and in their own right, the Bills have looked good over the past few seasons. Buffalo anticipates  their football team having a good year, and the Bills’ front office is as well, even with the current COVID-19 offseason the league is enduring. Beane confirmed that with his thoughts on the upcoming year.

“This is going to be a different camp, a camp like no other, usually I’m in a dorm room right now,” Beane said. “I think at the end of the day, we still have to hold ourselves to a high standard. Sean and I are not going to sit here and say, ‘Oh, it was the COVID year, we didn’t make the playoffs, so be it.’ Nothing’s changed here.”

“It’s our job to get this roster ready to go when we open up against the Jets,” Beane added. “Nothing is changing there.”

The bar is still high.
