The Longhorns are coming off a huge 34-24 win on the road against now-No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide, covering as a 7-point underdog. Texas opened the season with a 37-10 win over Rice, but failed to cover as a 35.5-point favorite. It is led by NFL prospect QB Quinn Ewers, who has 6 TDs and 609 yards passing in 2 games. Wyoming at Texas picks and predictions

Prediction

Texas 45, Wyoming 17

Moneyline

PASS.

There’s nothing to see here. While it is tempting, do not include Texas in your moneyline parlays.

Against the spread

LEAN WYOMING +29.5 (-105).

The Longhorns are coming off a captivating win at Alabama, but as a favorite this season, they are 0-1 ATS. This is a large spread against a Wyoming team that has a win over a Big 12 side, one that lost to top-15 Oregon by 8 in Week 2. Wyoming is 1-0 ATS as an underdog as well.

Wyoming QB Peasley has a terrific 6:1 TD-to-INT ratio. He should be able to keep this game somewhat close.

Take WYOMING +29.5 (-105) to cover this massive spread.

Over/Under

BET OVER 48.5 (-110).

Wyoming has a good mix of offensive potency and turnover-forcing defense that should help it aid the total. It has 3 fumbles through 2 games (4 total turnovers) and Wyoming has tallied at least 31 points in each of its 1st 2 games. Both teams are 1-1 O/U this season with Texas having scored at least 34 points in each of its 1st 2 games as well.

The quarterbacks have combined for 1 INT in 2 weeks and should play turnover-free football which will help possessions to continue and points on the board. Back OVER 48.5 (-110).

The Wyoming Cowboys (2-0) and the Texas Longhorns (2-0) meet Saturday at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (Longhorn Network). Below, we look at Wyoming vs. Texas odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Cowboys have fired out of the chute with a pair of victories, including a thrilling 35-33 win in 2 OT against Texas Tech in Laramie in Week 1. The Cowboys were a little less impressive in a 31-17 victory over Portland State of the FCS Saturday, failing to cover the 28-point spread as the Under (51) cashed.

The Longhorns boiled Rice by a 37-10 count at the DKR in Week 1, although it missed the cover as a 35.5-point favorite as the Under (58.5) connected. Texas more than bounced back, going to Alabama last Saturday and winning 34-24 as a 7-point underdog as the Over (53) cashed.

Texas is No. 6 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
