On Thursday, the Milwaukee Brewers Twitter account announced that
Wisconsin men’s and women’s basketball coaches Greg Gard and Marisa Moseley will throw out the first pitch before their game on Monday.
Fans in attendance will also have a chance to meet their favorite UW players from each program during a fan meet and greet held at the Home Plate Plaza from 4:30 to 6:30 PM CT.
In November, both programs will play non-conference opponents in the “Brew City Battle” at American Family Field in Milwaukee against Stanford and Kansas State, respectively.
It’s also worth noting that a college basketball game hasn’t occurred in a baseball stadium since 2015.
