Looking at Saturday’s Ohio State at Wisconsin college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Ohio State Buckeyes (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) meet the Wisconsin Badgers (5-2, 3-1) on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (NBC). Below, we look at Ohio State vs. Wisconsin odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Buckeyes eased past Penn State in a top-10 battle at The Horseshoe on Saturday, winning 20-12. Ohio State covered the 4-point number while cashing the Under (46). While the offense gets a lot of headlines, it’s the defense which is the calling card of the Bucks this season. OSU has allowed 17 or fewer points in all 7 games, cashing the Under in 6 of 7 outings.

The Badgers suffered a disappointing 15-6 setback to Iowa in Madison 2 weeks ago. It bounced back with a 25-21 road win at Illinois, while Iowa fumbled away 1st place in the Big Ten West, while also losing Floyd of Rosedale, in a loss to Minnesota. Wisconsin gets a 2nd chance to win the division, but faces a difficult outing against a top-5 team.

Ohio State is No. 3 in the US LBM Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

The Wisconsin Badgers (2-1) and No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes (3-0) meet Saturday in the Big Ten opener for both schools at Ohio Stadium in Columbus. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we look at Wisconsin at Ohio State odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our college football picks and predictions.

Rankings courtesy of the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

The Badgers rebounded from a Sept. 10 loss to Washington State, taking out their frustrations on New Mexico State Saturday 66-7. It was also Wisconsin’s first Over result in its 3 games this season.

The Buckeyes registered 763 total yards in a 77-21 obliteration of Toledo as Heisman hopeful QB C.J. Stroud threw 5 TD passes. RB TreVeyon Henderson exited the game early due to an unspecified injury, but coach Ryan Day likely decided to rest him due to the lopsided nature of the game.

First look: Iowa at Wisconsin odds and lines

Previewing the Iowa Hawkeyes at Wisconsin Badgers Week 9 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The 10th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten) and Wisconsin Badgers (4-3, 2-2) meet Saturday in Camp Randall Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (on ESPN). Below, we look at the Iowa vs. Wisconsin odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Rankings courtesy of the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA Today Sports.

Iowa is coming off a bye. The extra time off probably felt longer than usual for the Hawkeyes as they were knocked off as the No. 2 team in the AFCA Coaches Poll in their last game 24-7 at Purdue Oct. 16. It was a week after they defeated then-No. 4 Penn State 23-20 in a top-five showdown in Iowa City.

Wisconsin ran over Purdue 30-13 Saturday for a third consecutive win. The Badgers, which covered the spread as 3.5-point favorites, outrushed the Boilermakers 290 yards to -13 yards. You read that right. Negative 13 yards. Junior RB Chez Mellusi and freshman RB Braelon Allen recorded career highs in rushing yards, running for 149 yards with a touchdown and 140 yards with 2 TDs, respectively.

Iowa at Wisconsin head-to-head

The Badgers lead the all-time series 47-44-2.

The Hawkeyes snapped a 4-game slide in the series with a 28-7 home victory as 1-point underdogs last December.

The Badgers are 7-2 in the last nine games vs. the Hawkeyes but just 5-4 ATS. Wisconsin won the last two meetings in Madison, including a 24-22 squeaker Nov. 9, 2019, with Iowa covering as a 5.5-point dog.

Under (39) tickets cashed last season, but the Over is 3-1 in the last four tilts. Across the last 10 meetings, the Under has a slight edge at 5-4-1.

First look: Wisconsin at Illinois odds and lines

Previewing the Wisconsin at Illinois Week 6 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The Wisconsin Badgers (1-3, 0-2 Big Ten) travel to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini (2-4, 1-2) Saturday in a Big Ten matchup. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Wisconsin vs. Illinois odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Wisconsin has had a very difficult schedule to start the season. The Badgers have suffered losses to three top-25 teams as they lost 16-10 to now-No. 4 Penn State, 41-13 to now-No. 13 Notre Dame and 38-17 to now-No. 9 Michigan.

Rankings according to the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Illinois’ 24-14 win over Charlotte snapped a four-game losing skid. The Fighting Illini’s one win in conference play was a season-opening 30-22 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Wisconsin at Illinois head-to-head

Wisconsin and Illinois have played each other fairly evenly historically but that has not been the case in recent history. Wisconsin leads the all-time series 43-38-7 but has won 10 of the last 11, and 14 of the last 16, meetings.

However, the Badgers are 18-21-3 when facing the Fighting Illini on the road. Illinois came away with a 24-23 win in 2019 when the teams last met at Memorial Stadium, however that is the one win it has picked up in the series since 2007.

Wisconsin defeated Illinois 45-7 in last year’s matchup.

First look: Michigan at Wisconsin odds and lines

Previewing the Michigan Wolverines at Wisconsin Badgers Week 5 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The No. 14 Michigan Wolverines (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) head to Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisc., to face the Wisconsin Badgers (1-2, 0-1) Saturday. Kickoff is set for noon ET. Below, we look at the Michigan vs. Wisconsin odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Rankings according to the AFCA Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Michigan squeaked by Rutgers 20-13 last week but has otherwise looked excellent this season. The Wolverines comfortably covered their first three games and have been piling up yards on offense (7.3 yards per play; 11th in the nation). This will be their first road game, however, and the degree of difficulty gets much tougher against the Badgers’ defense.

Wisconsin is coming off a 41-13 loss to then-No. 10 Notre Dame, but that final score isn’t reflective of a game that Wisconsin was winning early in the 4th quarter. The Badgers outgained the Irish 315-248.

Wisconsin has limited opponents to just 4.0 yards per play (4th in the nation), but has struggled to move the ball and score points with just 23 total points against Power 5 teams (Notre Dame, Penn State).
