Nick Janowksi and the Pewaukee Pirates won their third straight Wisconsin High School basketball Division 2 state championship Saturday. The 6-foot-3 guard and his teammates were able to take down Whitnall 71-54, with Janowski producing 20 points, eight assists and six rebounds over nearly 35 minutes.
The junior at Pewaukee High School has now won the state championship in all three seasons of his seasons with the team and is gearing up for a potential leap to collegiate basketball in 2024. The four-star recruit received an offer from the Badgers in April 2022 and is now up to eight Division 1 offers overall.
With the Badgers expecting a lot of production from their incoming class of 2023 recruits, Greg Gard and his coaching staff could certainly benefit from grabbing the second-highest ranked player in Wisconsin for the class of 2024.
