Clevinger told reporters Friday he felt strong at Yankee Stadium before he “hit a little wall in the 4th again.” The 33-year-old, who re-signed in early April, should be built up enough by this point to be able to battle through this tough Orioles lineup.

The White Sox have a couple of veteran bats that are capable of delivering, which include Pham and SS Paul Dejong, who went 4 for 10 with a HR and 3 RBIs vs. Toronto. Plus, closer RHP Michael Kopech has not allowed a hit in 3 straight outings, so the flamethrower could certainly be tasked with keeping the game close.

Over/Under

I’m absolutely rolling with Orioles +1.5 (-150), and I wouldn’t be surprised if this were steamed up to -170 or more before first pitch. Baltimore, though inferiorly talented, are a better team than the White Sox. They’re also 35-23 at home. Take the ORIOLES +1.5 (-150).

The WHITE SOX -1.5 (-115) are a better play behind Cease, who handled himself with aplomb against the Orioles in his appearance against them earlier this season. As such, Chicago is a much better value on the run line. Chicago is 6-0 ATS against Baltimore this season.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 10.5 (-110) is the slight lean here; Cease did a great job in his first appearance against the O’s and Watkins was impressive in his only start of the season. Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

The WHITE SOX -1.5 (-130) are a much better value laying the run-and-a-half. The offense rolled up plenty of runs in the series opener, and they’ll keep the bats going against the scuffling Eshelman, who can’t go very long into games.

Over/Under (O/U)

The OVER 9 (-105) is the way to be, and the ChiSox could take care of it all on their own just like they did Saturday night. Eshelman has an atrocious ERA, and he hasn’t made it out of the fifth inning. That means the O’s bullpen will see more work, and that’s not a good thing. They own a 4.99 ERA that is 26th in the majors.

The Orioles have already lost 27 games at home this season and just five of them have been by a single run. Their bats won’t stay quiet against Keuchel, as his 14.1% K% is lowest among all qualified pitchers, and Baltimore is 4th in wRC+ vs lefties.

However, the Chicago offense is averaging 6.8 runs per game in their last 10 and they are in a prime spot against Lopez. Expect another big day and back the WHITE SOX -1.5 (+100).

Over/Under (O/U)

The over is 8-2 in the last 10 games for Chicago and 13-3 in Baltimore’s last 16 contests against a left-handed starter. These trends should continue as there should be plenty of offense on both sides. OVER 10 (-105) is the side to take in this one.
