Some of the more notable transfers that have competed at a high level thus far have been Taulia Tagovailoa (Maryland), Javon Baker (UCF), and Drew Sanders (Arkansas). The majority of the departures that Alabama has had really haven’t affected the dynamic of the team. Nonetheless, the coaching staff had to find replacements for previous highly-rated players.

The slate ahead will begin with a Razorbacks squad that is fresh off of a loss at the hands of Texas A&M. Sam Pittman’s squad will be looking to make a statement after a disappointing loss last weekend. The latest injury report for Alabama Football heading into Week 5 matchup versus Arkansas.

Alabama has various injuries across the roster. The most depleted position as a result of injury has been at wide receiver. So far, wide receivers JoJo Earle, Tyler Harrell, and Aaron Anderson have all been nursing injuries. They have yet to see game action. However, they all suited up against Vanderbilt and partook in warm-ups.

It is likely that all three will be available for Saturday’s matchup versus Arkansas. On the other hand, there are several key injuries to keep an eye on along the defensive side of the ball. Starting defensive backs Jordan Battle and Khyree Jackson both suffered injuries in recent weeks.

Jackson was sidelined this past week with an ankle injury while Battle suffered a mild leg injury during the Tide’s matchup versus the Commodores. It will be interesting to see if they see a lot of action or are limited on Saturday. Another starter that suffered an injury was Byron Young. Game time announced for Alabama’s Week 5 matchup with Arkansas

CBS’ Game of the Week for next week will be the Alabama Crimson Tide against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Through three games, Alabama has had one true test so far and it came against Texas on the road. The Tide managed to win a nail-biter in Austin. Now, their eyes are set on the future. On Monday, SEC on CBS announced that Alabama vs. Arkansas would be the Game of the Week for their matchup next week. The two teams are set to collide in Fayetteville on October 1. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EDT/ 2:30 p.m. CDT.

As for Alabama’s opponent, the Razorbacks have looked impressive through the first three weeks of the season. Sam Pittman’s squad has beaten Cincinnati, South Carolina and Missouri State. All of which were home games. With Alabama having beaten Texas on the road, it should help them prepare for the atmosphere in Fayetteville.

This game will determine a lot for both programs moving forward. The Arkansas fan base as well as the rest of the country have their eyes on the Hogs. Last season, Alabama escaped an upset by defeating the Razorbacks by a final score of 42-35. This year’s Alabama team is still trying to hit its stride, so to speak.

It will be interesting to see how Alabama comes out and performs against one of the nation’s best teams in the Arkansas Razorbacks.
