The players that come out of Alabama are usually well-developed and prepared to make an immediate impact in the NFL. Several rookies that have done that up to this point are Christian Harris and Brian Robinson Jr.

How Alabama transfers performed in their Week 8 matchups

Check in on some former Alabama players and how they performed this past weekend at their new programs.

Alabama has had transfers over the years that have departed from the program and seen success elsewhere. Several of the players in the past have created value for themselves and found their way into the NFL, Alvin Kamara and Jalen Hurts are two perfect examples.

Others that are still at the college level and have done well are Taulia Tagovailoa, Drew Sanders, and Javon Baker. Each player has made positive contributions on the field season for their respective teams.

Everything Nick Saban said after Alabama’s victory in Week 8 over Mississippi State

Roll Tide Wire takes a look at what Alabama head coach Nick Saban had to say following Alabama’s 30-6 victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban made sure that his team played with less anxiety in their Week 8 matchup against Mississippi State. It showed on Saturday night as the Crimson Tide cruised their way to a 30-6 victory over the Bulldogs.

Alabama quarterback Bryce Young didn’t seem limited in any capacities after suffering a shoulder injury three weeks ago against Arkansas. He played well in the game and was very effective in the passing department. He completed 21 of the 35 passes that he threw for a total of 249 yards and two touchdowns.

On the other hand, Alabama’s defense made quite the statement after allowing 52 points to Tennessee last weekend. Pete Golding and the rest of the staff emphasized the need to get back on track in Saturday’s game. That is exactly what happened. Several players stepped up with injuries along the defensive line while others performed well at the second level of the defense.

Roll Tide Wire will take a look at what Saban had to say following the Crimson Tide’s Week 8 victory over the Bulldogs.

Areas of concern ahead of Alabama’s Week 8 matchup against Mississippi State

Some areas of concern ahead of Alabama’s Week 8 matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Alabama has had to address different concerns from week to week this season. Several areas have seen improvements while others still need to be addressed. Through seven weeks, the biggest concerns have been penalties, special teams, and the secondary.

The Crimson Tide have been hurt more by costly mistakes than by the opposing teams. This is the most penalized team that has been at Alabama since Nick Saban became the head coach in 2007.

These are issues that can be fixed, but they have not been up to this point. Today, Roll Tide Wire takes a look at some of Alabama’s areas of concern heading into their Week 8 matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
