Watch: Trayce Jackson-Davis slams lob after blocking Giannis Antetokounmpo in wild sequence vs. Bucks

The rookie made his presence felt on both sides of the court against the Bucks.

With the Milwaukee Bucks cutting into the Golden State Warriors‘ lead in the second half, Steve Kerr turned to his bench for a spark. Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis quickly made his presence felt on both ends of the court.

In a wild sequence that started with a pair of Jackson-Davis blocks against two-time Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo, the rookie center charged back down the court to get involved offensively.

Following Jackson-Davis’ two impact blocks, Steph Curry found him at the rim for a lob dunk. The two-handed dunk from Jackson-Davis sent the San Francisco Chase Center crowd into a frenzy.

Warriors’ Steph Curry (rest) out vs. Bucks on Saturday night

The Warriors star point guard will get a rest day on Saturday night against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Coming off a much-needed win to open a four-game road swing on Friday night against the Chicago Bulls, the Golden State Warriors won’t have much time to celebrate with a stop in Milwaukee slated for the second leg of a back-to-back on Saturday evening.

However, the Golden State Warriors will have to figure out how to slow down the new pairing of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo without their star point guard. Two-time MVP Steph Curry has been ruled out on Saturday with a rest day.

Via @anthonyVslater on Twitter:

Curry has played in the Warriors’ last 25 games and is coming off a 27-point performance against the Bulls.

Curry will join Draymond Green, Chris Paul and Moses Moody on the sideline for Saturday’s game in Milwaukee. With Curry out, Steve Kerr will need to lean on rookie Brandin Podziemski and veteran ball handler Corey Joseph.

The Warriors will meet the Bucks at 5 p.m. PT on Saturday night in Milwaukee.

NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ road trip starting with blowout loss to Bucks, 128-111

After the Warriors road record dropped to 2-12 with a blowout loss to the Bucks on Tuesday, NBA Twitter weighed in with reactions.

After taking out the NBA-leading Boston Celtics on Saturday at Chase Center, things didn’t go as smoothly on Tuesday against the team with the second-best record in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks started out punishing the Warriors inside, with Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo getting inside the paint early to take an 11-point lead in the first quarter.

The Bucks only hit three 3-pointers in the first half as they took a 12-point lead in the first half. Milwaukee never looked back against the defending champions.

Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Portis combined for 75 points on the way to a blowout win over the Warriors, 128-111.

As the Bucks coasted to a victory, the Warriors were whistled for five technical fouls during the contest. Jordan Poole, Steph Curry, Steve Kerr, Andre Iguodala and Jonathan Kuminga were all tagged with technical fouls against the Bucks on Tuesday.

Rookie Patrick Baldwin Jr. was able to record some playing time while in his hometown of Milwaukee. The 2022 No. 29 overall pick tallied six points on 2-of-3 shooting from the floor with two made triples in eight minutes off the bench.

The Warriors now hold a 2-12 record on the road this season. The Warriors will have to turn the page quickly with the second leg of a road back-to-back coming on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers.

Following Golden State’s loss in Milwaukee, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Tuesday night.
