Georgia’s second-ranked recruit in ready to commit

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top schools for four-star defensive line recruit Vic Burley, but Clemson is favored to land his commitment.

Four-star defensive line recruit Victor “Vic” Burley is the second-ranked played in Georgia. Burley is the No. 40 recruit in the country and is not far from being ranked as a five-star recruit.

Now, Burley is ready to make a commitment. The four-star defensive lineman will decide between Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, and Michigan State on June 15 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Burley has taken recent visits to each of these schools, but he is expected to commit to the Clemson Tigers per 247Sports.

Vic Burley plays high school football for Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. Burley is also considered the No. 4 defensive lineman in the country. He would be Clemson’s second highest rated recruit in the class of 2023.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Warner Robins star plans to play in the 2023 All-American Bowl.

The four-star defensive lineman has offers from schools across the country like Arkansas, Oklahoma, Penn State, Miami, Michigan and many more. Burley also impresses in track and field for Warner Robins. He has put up some impressive numbers in shot put and in discus.

Warner Robins’ football team has won back-to-back 5A state championships in Georgia.

UGA is in the running for 5-star DL Vic Burley, the No. 2 player in Georgia…

2023 five-star defensive lineman Vic Burley has included Georgia football among his top-12 schools.

Burley will choose among Georgia, Oregon, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Florida State, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

Burley, out of Warner Robins, Ga. (Warner Robins High School) is rated as the No. 2 player in the State of Georgia, the No. 5 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 35 player overall, per 247Sports Composite.

Burley stands at a whopping 6-foot-five, 276 pounds as only a junior. He also adds an 81-inch wingspan to boot.

Burley would be a big addition to the Dawgs defensive front that is looking to replace the impact of Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt and Travon Walker.

Georgia currently holds the No. 4 class in the country in 2023, which currently includes seven commits.
