The Trojans opened with a thrilling 27-20 win over LSU at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as a 4-point underdog as the Under (66) connected. USC QB Miller Moss lit up the Bayou Bengals for 378 passing yards and a TD, while RB Woody Marks was good for 68 yards and 2 rushing scores.
It all wasn’t great for USC defensively, but it was a lot better than last season. The Trojans allowed 113 rushing yards, while yielding 308 passing yards.
USC is No. 14 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, conducted by the American Football Coaches Association and USA TODAY Sports.

USC (-7143) would set you back more than 70 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk for not nearly enough reward.
While USC was impressive against LSU, the Trojans are coming off short rest and a short trip to Vegas. The Aggies have been giant killers before, so be careful here.

Against the spread
Back UTAH STATE +28.5 (-110) catching more than 4 TDs in The Coliseum.
The Aggies are a shell of their former selves, but they should at least be able to keep it within 4 scores against the Trojans, who could have a little bit of fatigue playing on short rest. It will be interesting to see if USC -28.5 (-110) will be able to have the same kind of intensity and improvement on the defensive side as it exhibited in Vegas.
Over/Under
The OVER 63.5 (-110) is the lean, but go lightly with a half-unit play at most.
Last season, this would have been a slam-dunk play, as USC’s defense was bad. But the Trojans showed some improvement against LSU last weekend, so we’re a little more bearish on the Over now.
However, let’s get a little more information. Utah State showed an ability to move the ball last week, albeit against an inferior opponent. If USC shuts the Aggies down, we’ll change our outlook. For now, lean high.
