SEC announces football’s Week 9 TV schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs play the Florida Gators in Jacksonville on Oct. 29 at the usual 3:30 p.m. ET slot on CBS. What about the rest of the SEC?

The SEC has four of the top undefeated teams in the country: Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss. The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs (7-0) play the Florida Gators (4-3) on Oct. 29 at the usual 3:30 p.m. ET slot on CBS.

What are some of the conference’s other top games in Week 9?

No. 18 Kentucky plays at No. 4 Tennessee in the Volunteers’ final test before traveling to Athens to face the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 10. Will Tennessee and Georgia remain undefeated entering the Nov. 5 showdown?

Both Georgia and Tennessee will be favored in their respective SEC games ahead of the Week 10 clash. Tennessee faces Tennessee-Martin before hosting Kentucky, so the Volunteers will not have to leave Knoxville before making the road trip to Georgia. Georgia has a Week 8 bye before playing Florida in Jacksonville.

Another interesting game in Week 9 is the Ole Miss-Texas A&M game. Ole Miss could enter the game undefeated. The Rebels have some defensive deficiencies, but they have one of the best rushing offenses in the country. Can Texas A&M keep pace with the Rebels or slow them enough to make it a more defensive game? The Aggies have a great deal of talent, but don’t have many big wins this season. Texas A&M fans will be happy to have a night game against Ole Miss.

Additionally, the Week 9 SEC schedule features Arkansas-Auburn and Missouri-South Carolina.
