Twitter reacts to Georgia football’s shutout win over Arkansas

Georgia’s defense and run game overwhelmed Arkansas in the Bulldogs’ 37-0 win.

The Georgia Bulldogs have outscored their last two SEC opponents 99-0 following their dominant victory over No. 11 Arkansas. Georgia’s defense and run game overwhelmed Arkansas in the Bulldogs’ 37-0 win.

The Dawgs held the Razorbacks to only nine first downs and 162 total yards. The Sanford Stadium crowd disrupted Arkansas from the start. The Razorbacks did not play well. They started the game with a few false starts and finished with 13 penalties for 101 yards.

Arkansas will be disappointed with their road performance. Georgia dominated the line of scrimmage and forced Arkansas into obvious passing situations. Georgia finished the game with four sacks including 1.5 from both Nakobe Dean and Devonte Wyatt.

Offensively, Georgia relied on the offensive line, which blocked well and opened up holes in the running game. UGA running backs Zamir White, Kendall Milton, Kenny McIntosh, and James Cook all had at least 10 carries and 40 rushing yards.

Some questions remain regarding the Georgia passing attack, especially without quarterback JT Daniels. Kirby Smart and company did not find themselves in many obvious passing situations on the day. Stetson Bennett attempted only 11 passes.

Next up for Georgia is a trip to Auburn. The Bulldogs face the Tigers in another ranked rivalry game.
