How to Watch Steelers vs. Browns, NFL Week 11 Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Steelers vs. Browns Live Online.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) and Cleveland Browns (3-6) meet Thursday night for a primetime AFC North showdown. It’s a rivalry that dates back to 1950 with the Steelers leading the all-time series 75-58-1. That one tie came last year, 21-21, in their first meeting of the season, but Pittsburgh won the next round, 33-18, at home. Both teams are in the middle of the standings and can inch closer to the Ravens with a victory.

A 1-4 start and Ben Roethlisberger, the face of the franchise, out with a season-ending injury wasn’t exactly what Steeler Nation had envisioned to begin the season. However, Pittsburgh has turned things around and has won its last four games, including a 17-12 victory over the Rams. Mason Rudolph threw for 242 yards and one touchdown. James Washington led the team with six catches for 90 yards and one touchdown. The Steelers are averaging just over 21 points per game but rank near the bottom in total yards, passing yards and rushing yards per game. That didn’t stop coach Mike Tomlin, who made a gutsy 4th and 1 call with the team leading 14-12. That confidence may be the spark they needed for a shot at the playoffs.

Defensively, Rams quarterback Jared Goff was limited to just 243 yards and two interceptions. The Steelers’ defense sacked Goff four times in the game and forced three turnovers. Mark Barron racked up 10 tackles, while Joe Haden added seven tackles and an interception. Javon Hargrave and T.J. Watt were in Goff’s face throughout the game. Hargrave finished with seven tackles and one sack with Watt adding five tackles and two sacks to the stat sheet. They will face a versatile Browns offense that has playmakers in running back Nick Chubb and wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.

The Buffalo Bills had a chance to tie the game against the Browns on Sunday, but instead, the field goal attempt missed with 22 seconds left, and Cleveland had a renewed sense of hope for its season. The Browns snapped a four-game losing streak with the 19-16 road win. Baker Mayfield completed 26 of 38 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Nick Chubb rushed for 116 yards, his fourth 100+ yard game this season, which brought his season total to 919 yards– third-best in the NFL. With Kareem Hunt back as well, the Browns have a 1-2 punch at running back. Jarvis Landry led the team with nine catches for 97 yards, while Odell Beckham Jr. added five more for 57 yards.

Cleveland’s defense held Josh Allen to 266 yards passing and no touchdowns. The Browns rank seventh in the NFL against the pass. Myles Garrett has racked up ten sacks and will look to attack a weak offensive line for the Steelers, much the same away Aaron Donald and the Rams did a week ago.

Whale swims beneath surfers, but do they even notice?

The video opportunity of a lifetime presented itself in the form of a whale spout, then another, as Payton Landaas watched from his patio.

The video opportunity of a lifetime presented itself Monday in the form of a whale spout, then another, as Payton Landaas watched from the patio of his parents’ home overlooking a famous Southern California surf spot.

“I knew how rare this moment could be so I ran to get my drone,” Landaas, 18, told For The Win Outdoors.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRP5B-bn25s]

Moments later he was capturing aerial footage of a 25-foot gray whale swimming toward and beneath unsuspecting surfers as they waited for waves at Doheny State Beach in Orange County.

As viewers can see, the whale surfaces once inside the lineup, then approaches 20-plus surfers as they sit lazily on their boards. One young surfer turns around and spots the whale, then paddles away as the leviathan passes beneath him.

Some of the surfers did not seem to notice the whale. Photo: Payton Landaas

“The whale was inside the lineup, which wouldn’t have happened any other time of day due to the tide,” Landaas said, explaining that the morning high tide allowed the large mammal to swim close to shore.

Many of the surfers did not seem to see the whale, but Landaas’ footage affords a unique perspective revealing the graceful movements of such a large cetacean.

Landaas, a resident of Capistrano Beach and a senior at San Juan Hills High School, had just launched Stealth Photos and lists himself as owner and chief drone pilot.

The whale, likely a juvenile looking for food on the sandy bottom, is somewhat of a stray.

The southbound gray whale migration, from feeding grounds off Alaska to breeding areas off Mexico, does not peak off Southern California until January.

Watch the Milwaukee Bucks Live Online this season.

All Giannis, all the time. That’s what life is like in Milwaukee these days as the Bucks have become a must-see attraction in not just the NBA, but the world of sports. That’s how big of an impact the “Greek Freak” has had since his emergence as the top player in the league. The reigning NBA Most Valuable Player carried his team to the Eastern Conference Finals last season. This season, the Bucks are looking to take it one step further by bringing a championship back to the Cream City for the first time since 1971.

It doesn’t appear as if the league has found a way to stop Giannis yet. After dominating the regular season in 2018-19, the 24-year-old superstar has picked up right where left off. He is among the top five in the league in both scoring and rebounding through the first 10 games of the season. His extraordinary exploits have led to the Bucks once again being considered among the favorites in the East.

While Giannis will certainly get most of the attention, the Bucks wouldn’t be in the position that they are without a great supporting cast. Milwaukee’s four other starters also average double-digits in scoring, led by forward Khris Middleton, who has emerged as a very valuable asset by Giannis’ side. Throw in the likes of Eric Bledsoe and Brook Lopez, along with veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver off the bench and there’s no reason not to expect the Bucks to be contending for a title come the spring.

Watch the UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers Live Online.

France, Germany, Portugal, Croatia, England and the Netherlands can each secure automatic qualification to Euro 2020 when the qualifying phase resumes on Matchday 9. Cristiano Ronaldo and the defending champions are still in danger of missing out on second in Group B, but a win over Lithuania on Thursday could be enough if Serbia fails to beat Luxembourg.

Current world champions and Euro 2016 runner-up France remains second in Group H. While level on points with Turkey, who leads via head-to-head, France will qualify as long as it beats Moldova at home. Didier Deschamps’ side can still be knocked out of the top-two running by third-place Iceland, who travel to Turkey on Thursday in need of a win if its to snatch an automatic spot.

Germany and the Netherlands are engaged in another close fight for the summit in Group C. De Oranje holds the head-to-head advantage over Germany with the pair level on points, while Northern Ireland holds a glimmer of hope to finish top two, currently three points behind in third.

Ronald Koeman takes the Netherlands to Windsor Park in Belfast on Saturday, while Germany hosts Belarus, each needing just one more point to cement their places in first and second, respectively.

England has suffered one loss in qualifying and need one point at home to Montenegro to guarantee a top-two finish, while a win would ensure they take the top spot. However, third-place Kosovo hopes a result away to the Czech Republic can cause one last shift in Group A.

Croatia plays its final match of the qualifying campaign at home to Slovakia on Saturday. One point would be enough to ensure the team finishes first in Group E. Gareth Bale’s Wales team is currently fourth in the pool and four points below second-place Hungary, who it has to beat at home if it’s to prolong an automatic qualification chance.

Spain has already wrapped up its Euro 2020 fate and looks set to finish first in Group F, but it’ll host bottom-dweller Malta on Friday in what promises to be a fairly one-sided fixture.

Young boy out-fishes fishing guide dad with 42-pound catfish

Kris Flores said he always thought his son would out-fish him one day, he just didn’t expect it to be so soon. Not bad for a 9-year-old.

A 9-year-old boy reeled in a 42-pound blue catfish on Elephant Butte Reservoir in New Mexico on Sunday, beating his father’s record by 6 pounds, which is impressive considering he’s a fishing guide.

The catch was not far off the state record of 54 1/4 pounds for a blue catfish, but it proved to be a record for the family and Muddy River Catfishing.

“I always knew my son would out-fish me some day, I just didn’t expect it to be so soon,” Kris Flores told USA Today/For The Win Outdoors, referring to son Alex.

Scouting the lake to find active catfish for upcoming guided trips, Flores had been fishing all day with his family and was about to call it quits just after sundown when the big blue catfish bit.

“Alex was quick to get to [the rod] and started reeling,” Flores told For The Win Outdoors. “At first, he didn’t think the fish was very big, but it didn’t take long for the big blue catfish to realize he was hooked. That’s when the fight started—the rod bending and reel screaming.”

The video showed that very moment.

“Alex fought that fish until it came up from the depths,” Flores told For The Win Outdoors. “I fumbled around trying to get it into the net.”

It was challenging because the rod was in a rod holder, so the end of the tip was more than 2 feet beyond the reach of the net.

“But finally it swam in,” he said.

Alex told KRQE that as soon as he started reeling it in “it didn’t feel that heavy, but then as soon as it got heavier, as soon as the rod bent, I should say, I knew it was a big fish.”

Everyone on the boat was excited as photos were taken with the fish.

“The fish was definitely too heavy for him to hold so I had him sit down and then I placed the fish on his lap for the photo,” Kris said.

After a couple of photos, the fish was released.

Alex nicknamed the fish Wailord (a whale) after the largest of all identified Pokemon characters. It was apropos as Alex’s fish was the biggest among the 25 caught that day.

“I’m pretty proud of my son handling that fish all on his own,” Kris said.

Boasting a perennial MVP candidate and one of the most exciting offenses in the NBA, the Houston Rockets come into every season with high expectations. But with the acquisition of one of the game’s most exciting players in the offseason, the expectations surrounding the Rockets may be higher than ever. Can James Harden and Russell Westbrook bring the Rockets to new heights during the 2019-2020 season?

One of the biggest moves of the summer in the NBA was the decision by the Rockets to trade point guard Chris Paul to the Oklahoma City Thunder and to bring in Westbrook. The move reunited Harden and Westbrook, who helped bring the Thunder to the NBA Finals in 2012. That was before either player had reached his current status and become a league MVP. The question now is whether or not the two stars can coexist well enough to bring Houston a championship.

Outside of Harden and Westbrook, the rest of the Rockets roster will need to play at a high level on both sides of the court. Shooters like Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson knocking down shots will force defenses not to put too much of their attention on Harden and Westbrook, both of whom are at their best when they have room to operate and get to the basket against overmatched defenders. With offensive expert Mike D’Antoni at the helm, expect the team to find ways to space the floor and get open shots for the supporting cast.

Can you spot the hidden object in this shark photo?

William Buchheit captured an extraordinary great white shark image recently at Mexico’s Guadalupe Island.

William Buchheit captured an extraordinary great white shark image recently at Mexico’s Guadalupe Island. But he did not know how extraordinary until he got home and took a closer look.

“Thank God I didn’t delete it, for it wasn’t until a full week later when I opened the image on my computer that I discovered the magical moment I’d captured,” Buchheit, 43, told For The Win Outdoors.

The image, captured from aboard the San Diego-based Islander, shows a white shark breaching near the island. But the small object within the image makes it more unusual, and provides a fun test for those with a keen eye for detail.

Viewers should be able to spot the object without too much trouble, especially if they chose first to look at the larger image posted below.

(NOTE: The object is revealed and explained below.)

Buchheit, an avid shark diver from Spartanburg, S.C., was part of a cage-diving expedition at Guadalupe, a seasonal home to dozens of great white sharks.

The crew had been attracting sharks near divers in submerged cages with tuna as “hang baits” tied to the ends of ropes.

Buchheit, who was kneeling at the vessel’s stern, had been hoping merely to capture a shot of a shark’s dorsal fin in the morning light.

“Even though the sunlight was gorgeous, I didn’t consider this particular shot anything special when I first saw it, for I failed to see the tooth on the LCD screen,” he said.

After returning home, Buchheit spotted an airborne tooth near the shark’s head. The shark must have lost the tooth when it chomped on the tuna. (White sharks routinely lose teeth during attacks on prey. They have several rows, however, and lost teeth are quickly replaced.)

“To my knowledge there have only been two photos that ever captured a great white’s tooth in the air,” Buchheit said. “They were both shot from a much greater distance in South Africa.”

Feeding sharks is illegal at Guadalupe. Hang baits are used merely to keep sharks near cages, and bait handlers can usually pull them away from approaching sharks.

“This shark, however, was clever and developed an approach in which she launched toward the tuna like a missile from below,” Buchheit said. “The bait handlers couldn’t see her coming and she was successful in stealing the bait.”

Buchheit, who was on his third voyage to Guadalupe, said he was positioned 40-50 feet from where the shark surfaced. He was shooting with a Canon 1DX at 70 millimeters, in a manual setting at 1-1,200 of a second, F 6.3 and ISO 250.

Disney+ vs. Netflix: Which is the best streaming service?

Breaking down everything you need to know about the Disney+ vs. Netflix debate, including which one is better for sports fans.

Today, Disney+ launched to the delight of people who love Star Wars, Marvel, and anyone with small children. Disney’s new standalone streaming service gives users access to pretty much their entire back catalog, along with National Geographic, as well as the aforementioned blockbuster series they’ve purchased.

It’s also got a lot of people asking: How does it compare to the existing streaming services?

In this article we’ll look at the Disney+ vs. Netflix debate. We’ll look at what each offers, and compare price and interface. We’ll give a final verdict for people out there, and have a special analysis for sports fans.

Let’s get to it.

Which has better offerings?

Right now, by a nose, we have to give it to Netflix. Netflix has spent aggressively on original content, and has also invested in a lot of classic films

Disney+ comes out of the gate in second place, already surpassing Hulu. It’s got the Disney back catalogue, as well as everything from the Marvel cinematic universe, Star Wars, and National Geographic. This does leave blind spots — any movies that are older and outside of a few major franchises are basically going to be kids’ movies, and their TV offerings can’t get close to Netflix yet. But this is a strong start.

As for other things out there: Hulu is a fine option. It’s got some interesting TV shows and gets TV offerings much quicker than Netflix does. And as we’ll share in a second, you can actually get it with Disney+, which may be the best way to go.

Price?

Disney+ is available for $6.99 a month to start, with an annual option for $69.99. This is considerably less than Netflix’s current cost of $12.99 a month, and will be the difference maker for a lot of people.

And Disney+ also came over the top with another option: You can have Disney+, Hulu, AND ESPN+ all for $12.99. I already pay for ESPN+ (you can read our review of ESPN+ here), so for me, this option is a no-brainer.

Ease of use?

We haven’t had too much time to play around with Disney+ yet, but the format seems intuitive and nice to use. Netflix has had years to perfect the way they share content with you, and their search option works great, but Netflix also has an annoying feature where it auto-loads previews and starts playing video when you’re just trying to browse, which drives me nuts.

So I guess we’ll give it to Disney+ for now.

Final verdict

If you have to choose between one, I think I give the slight edge to Disney+, with a big caveat — if you don’t have small children and aren’t a huge comic book film fan, you might be frustrated with what they offer at first. Netflix has more original programming, and much better TV offerings. Hulu I don’t think compares to either, but as a tack-on to Disney+, might well be worth it.

Plus, if you love sports, the Disney+ / Hulu / ESPN+ deal is a ton of great content and live sports programming for the same cost you’re paying for Netflix now.

Today’s the day: Everything you need to know about Disney+

Everything you need to know to get using the new Disney+ platform, including how to stream, price, and more.

Today is the day. Disney is opening up its vault with a new streaming service called Disney+. It begins today, November 12, and is available in the United States, Canada, and Netherlands to start.

For fans of Disney, Star Wars, National Geographic, Marvel, ESPN … these are exciting times. Disney has gone and made a big old conglomerate of content, and they’re now offering it with a standalone streaming service that’s pretty affordable compared to other options out on the market.

So let’s go through it. Let’s find out what all the fuss is about, and show you how to download Disney+ if you see fit.

What is Disney+?

Disney+ is a new standalone streaming service from Disney. It features almost 500 movies and over 7,500 episodes of television, per Disney.

What does Disney+ offer?

Yes, you will be getting all the classic Disney films you know and love. But Disney also owns Marvel, and Star Wars, and National Geographic, so you’re getting all of that good stuff, too. They’re also rolling out a new standalone Star Wars chapter: The Mandalorian, which for many Star Wars nuts will be worth the price of admission alone.

What does Disney+ cost?

Disney+ costs $6.99 a month, or you can get a year subscription for $69.99. They also have a bundle option where you can get ESPN+ and Hulu (with ads) for $12.99 a month.

How do I start using Disney+?

Disney+ is available for download on most major streaming devices. You can sign up and start watching on your laptop right now at disneyplus.com.

It’s also available on the following devices to start: Amazon FireTV and FireOSApple iOS and Apple TVAndroid/Chromecast, RokuXbox OnePS4, LG webOS smart TVs and Samsung Smart TV.

Once you have an account, it will work on multiple devices for you.

  • When: Monday, November 11

Kawhi Leonard. This is the man everyone wants to watch in the NBA this season, and his load management has led to some groans by those who just love to see the best player in the league do the things that led to him winning a championship last June and the Finals MVP. Leonard did it for the Toronto Raptors, who come to Staples Center to play the Clippers in what will most likely be the first meeting between player and team — if Kawhi doesn’t sit this one out.

The Raptors will be playing in the second night of a back-to-back at Staples after an exciting 113-104 win against the Lakers on Sunday night. Pascal Siakam has made the jump to superstar, OG Anunoby has done well in Leonard’s old spot in the lineup, and the champions are playing like it so far. It will be an awesome atmosphere in Los Angeles and expect Leonard to be excited to see his former teammates for the first time since signing with the Clippers.
