Will the Louisville star be available for the final?
This post has been updated with new information.
We’re down to the finals in the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament, with Louisville facing Penn State, but we’ll see if star and Louisville native Anna DeBeer will play on Sunday.
“We’re going to do everything we can to get her on the court,” Busboom Kelly said, via the Courier Journal. “But we do have a great team behind her if she can’t go.”
Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is dealing with a knee injury. Here are the latest updates.
Update: Waddle is inactive
Jaylen Waddle has been a durable player for most of his time with the Miami Dolphins, but suffered a knee injury in Week 15 that has his status for Sunday in doubt.
The fourth-year wide receiver, who has only missed three games in his career, was rolled up on from behind while blocking against the Houston Texans. While he was ruled questionable to return to that game, Waddle spent the remainder of Week 15 watching from the sideline.
Now Waddle is doubtful to play in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers. Here’s what we know about the receiver’s status:
Jaylen Waddle injury update
The Dolphins used the doubtful designation seven times in the first 15 weeks of the 2024 season and are seven players ended up being ruled out. While Waddle hasn’t officially been declared unavailable and reports on his status are scarce, it’d be a shock if he played against the 49ers.
Miami also elevated Erik Ezukanma from the practice squad to provide additional receiver depth, although Grant DuBose’s move to the injured reserve may have necessitated that move, regardless.

The Dolphins also listed Tyreek Hill as questionable for Week 16, but early indications are that he’ll play Sunday. That’s important because the team’s other wide receivers Sunday will be Malik Washington, River Cracraft, and Erik Ezukanma. The Dolphins also rely heavily on running back De’Von Achane and tight end Jonnu Smith in the pass game.
Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is dealing with a wrist injury. Here are the latest updates.
Update: Tyreek Hill is active and will play Sunday.
Tyreek Hill has made frequent appearances on the injury report this season due to a wrist injury suffered in August. But on Friday, he was limited in practice and the Miami Dolphins added “personal” to his reasons for not participating fully in the week’s preparation.
The team listed Hill as questionable for the first time in over a month. Here’s what we know about the receiver’s status:
There’s no indication that Hill’s wrist injury has gotten worse in recent weeks. Earlier this week, the receiver said he still doesn’t plan on getting surgery any time soon.
“I just know right now in my head I’m not doing it,” Hill said of a surgery. “But if I continue to have conversations and continue to educate myself on it, then obviously I may end up doing it. But right now I’m going to say no because that’s something I don’t want to do.”
He also said he’ll play the remainder of the year, regardless if the Dolphins are in the postseason mix or not.
“I never shut it down,” Hill said. “You only get so many opportunities to play this game and I feel like I’ve got to be able to take advantage of every opportunity that I get because football is not for long.”

Keeping Hill in the lineup is crucial for the Dolphins with Jaylen Waddle expected to miss Week 16. The team’s other wide receivers Sunday will be Malik Washington, River Cracraft, and Erik Ezukanma. The Dolphins also rely heavily on running back De’Von Achane and tight end Jonnu Smith in the pass game.

Which brings us to this question: will she attend Sunday’s Bills game against the New England Patriots?
It’s a home game, for what it’s worth, so that may help. So maybe she’ll attend? We’ve seen no indication either way. But here’s Allen talking about his engagement recently.
