Did Taylor Swift attend the Billboard Music Awards on Thursday night?

Did the 14-time Grammy winner make the trip to Las Vegas?

Awards season has gotten underway, and the music industry had their turn on Thursday night as the Billboard Music Awards took place in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift was nominated for an impressive 16 awards — second behind only country artist Zach Bryan — including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.

Now that the Eras Tour has concluded after 149 shows, some were wondering whether the 14-time Grammy winner was going to make an appearance on the red carpet, and whether she’d bring beau Travis Kelce for the first time.

Swift wasn’t in attendance in Los Angeles, instead spending Thursday visiting with patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Taylor Swift shared a hilarious moment about Travis Kelce with a patient during her Kansas City hospital visit

Swift and this patient had something in common.

Despite just wrapping up the Eras Tour on Sunday night in Vancouver, British Columbia, Taylor Swift was out and about in Kansas City on Thursday. The 14-time Grammy winner visited Children’s Mercy Hospital just days after concluding her 149 show, five continent super tour.

Swift brightened the day of children getting treatment at the hospital, but the patients clearly had an impact on the The Tortured Poets Department singer, too. Photos and video from the day showed Swift — who turns 35 on December 13 — smiling and laughing with the kids as she took selfies and signed autographs.

One patient elicited a hilarious reaction as they told her “I like Travis [Kelce] now,” referring to Swift’s boyfriend and Chiefs tight end. Without missing a beat, Swift stated, “me too.”

A perfect interaction.

Will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce go to the 2024 Billboard Music Awards for their first red carpet together?

Here’s our take.

It’s the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, which will air at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 12.

That means we’ll get plenty of performances by music’s biggest artists, and I’m sure we’ll get some good jokes from host Michelle Buteau.

But if you’re here, you’re probably wondering: will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce show up for their first red carpet walk together?

The answer is: for Kelce, probably not. He’s in the middle of practice this week for the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs game against the Cleveland Browns.

For Swift? The Eras Tour is over. She’s up for 17 awards, so maybe she does show up on Thursday night.

There’s your answer.

Travis Kelce’s Taylor Swift tribute after the final Eras Tour was just the sweetest

Travis Kelce had nothing but kind words for the end of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

A new episode of the New Heights podcast dropped on Wednesday, and it was the first one since Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour came to an end. The concert was, of course, a topic of interest as New Heights co-host Travis Kelce has been dating the 14-time Grammy winner since last summer.

“The unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end,” Travis said on the podcast. The Kansas City tight end impressively knew the number of shows — 149 in total — when asked by brother Jason, and he was effusive in his praise for everyone that worked on the popular concert tour.

“Shoutout to everybody that was a part of that show,” Travis continued. “It was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”

Steelers K Chris Boswell should win 2024 fantasy football MVP award

Chris Boswell’s historic 2024 season is shaking up fantasy football, outscoring top TEs and propelling many fantasy teams to the playoffs

Sorry, WR Ja’Marr Chase, while your fantasy football points scored are impressive, one kicker has turned many fantasy football leagues upside down.

Steelers K Chris Boswell, AKA the ‘Wizard of Boz,’ is not only putting together a historic NFL season with 36 field goals made through 13 games played, but his fantasy football points are also off the charts!

ESPN compiled a list of which players belong to the most fantasy football playoff teams in 2024, and Boswell ranks 24th, above huge fantasy football names like WR CeeDee Lamb, WR Puka Nacua, WR A.J. Brown, QB Jayden Daniels, and TE Travis Kelce.

One of the most surprisingly true statistics in all of fantasy football is that Boswell is currently beating out all TEs for points scored in standard and half-PPR Sleeper fantasy football leagues.

No one can deny Boswell’s elite kicking prowess on gameday, but no one could have predicted the impact he would have on the world of fantasy football in 2024.

Travis Kelce had a great mic’d-up response as the Chargers’ Derwin James complained to the refs

Classic Travis.

Chargers safety Derwin James has spent his entire NFL career in Los Angeles. He knows what it’s like to go up against the Chiefs, and he knows what it’s like to match up with Travis Kelce.

He shouldn’t expect to get many favorable calls against the Chiefs, especially the borderline ones at Arrowhead.

But hey, it didn’t hurt to ask.

The Chargers released some mic’d-up footage from Kansas City’s division-clinching game on Sunday night, and one sequence was particularly great. James was matched up with Kelce as the Chiefs tight end made some contact before picking up space on the route. James immediately shouted to the officials, asking for penalty.

Kelce wasn’t going to deny what he did either.

When James told the officials that Kelce had pushed him, Kelce responded, “Hell yeah, I did … you know my routes.”

And let’s be honest, there wasn’t much of a push at all — at least from that video. But even as James complained, Kelce managed to show some respect to James. Classic Travis right there.

Travis Kelce made history with impressive performance vs. Chargers

#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce made history during Kansas City’s Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles #Chargers on ‘Sunday Night Football’

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has become one of the most decorated players in the NFL since entering the league in 2013, and he set another record during the defending Super Bowl champions’ Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Kelce went into Sunday’s game with 11,965 career yards, just 35 yards shy of becoming the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 12,000 yards.

When Kelce caught a seven-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter of the AFC West showdown, he officially passed Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez to achieve the incredible feat.

The NFL paid homage to Kelce’s historic record in a post on Twitter:

Though Kelce hasn’t caught as many touchdown passes as he has in years past, he has remained Mahomes’ favorite target in the passing game and has been among Kansas City’s most productive players this season.

Stay tuned to see if Kelce can continue his run of dominance against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid describes the game-winning drive vs. Chargers: ‘I wasn’t too worried’

Kansas City #Chiefs head coach Andy Reid describes the game-winning drive vs. #Chargers: ‘I wasn’t too worried’ | @EdEastonJr

The Kansas City Chiefs thrillingly won another game over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night, showcasing excellent late-game execution. Head Coach Andy Reid spoke with reporters after the game, breaking down the strategy for the final moments.

“I mean, I have trust in Matthew (Wright), so I was good with where we were. Percentages are pretty high; I know we’ve won a game in that same situation on the opposite end, so I get it, but he’s a solid kicker,” said Reid. “I wasn’t too worried about it once we got down in there. Now to get down in there was a nice job by our guys. That play that Pat (Mahomes) and (Travis) Kelce made right there at the end was something – that’s not quite the way it was drawn up.”

The completion from Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce setting up Wright’s opportunity was drawn up differently, but his star players’ improvisation made it successful.

“It was a naked – with a back and a slide, and they zoned it off. Pat (Mahomes) had it in his hands, which is important, and on the move, which is important. He does some good things with that, and then we had some people coming to him.” said Reid. “Listen, I thought the Chargers did a nice job with that, but they zoned us off; that’s more of a man, though. They had been playing man up to that point, they had been zero blitzing us so if they would have done that, that would have been a great call.”

The Chiefs are finding ways to win games late and will have the opportunity to clinch the top seed in the conference within the next few weeks.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes praises the latest Travis Kelce milestone: ‘The hardest working dude’

Kansas City #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes praises the latest Travis Kelce milestone: ‘The hardest working dude’ | @EdEastonJr

The Kansas City Chiefs AFC West-clinching victory over the Los Angeles Chargers was more than a victory for one of their star players. Patrick Mahomes took time in his postgame press conference to honor the latest career accomplishment from teammate Travis Kelce.

“He (Travis Kelce) means the world to me, man. I mean, without getting emotional – he’s a guy who has really kind of made me who I am in my career, and (he’s a) true leader on the football field. Someone – everybody says ‘security blanket’ but someone that I can go to at any moment, and he’s going to make a big play happen.” said Mahomes. “As he’s gone throughout his career, he’s never dropped off as far as his work ethic and the way he leads, and I think that’s super important when you have a guy that’s going to have a gold jacket, and he’s the hardest working dude on the team.”

Kelce became the fastest tight end to 12,000 career yards in the win and had the game-sealing reception to set up kicker Matthew Wright’s game-winning field goal.

“I think just both. Just in terms as a player, obviously, he’s (Travis Kelce) someone that – he plays in the same wavelength that I do, and it’s hard to do that, and I think you see (that) it takes guys time because it seems like from the first day I’ve kind of been on that same page with Trav.” said Mahomes. “Then, seeing him work every day, everybody sees like the personality on the TV and stuff like that, but you don’t see that everyday work ethic that he has. I mean, he’s the guy that gets mad when they take him out of practice reps. That’s just the type of work ethic (that) he has. Even for me, to come into the league and have a superstar player and see him work like that, it kind of showed me that I’m going to have to put that work ethic in if I want to get to that level.”

Kelce continues to rise in the league record books, and his performances show no signs of slowing down after an unusual start to the season that had many critics questioning his football future.

Taylor Swift did a final ‘Karma is the guy on the Chiefs’ lyric change on last Eras Tour night

Travis Kelce had a game, but he was in Vancouver in spirit.

Emotions were high on Sunday night as Taylor Swift wrapped the Eras Tour after 149 shows. The 14-time Grammy winner has been touring almost non-stop since March of 2023, performing her 3-hour show across five continents.

To close in Vancouver, Swift took the chance to deploy what had become a very popular lyric change in her final song of the night, “Karma.” Swift started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce last summer, and has sporadically sung “karma is the guy on the Chiefs” instead of “karma is the guy on the screen.”

Previously, Swift would only sing the line if Kelce was in attendance, but has used it a few times during football season when he had a game.
