The crowd at the Grammys was thrilled to see Tracy Chapman perform with Luke Combs
Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell and Celine Dion are just some of the stars that made Sunday night memorable.
The 2024 Grammy Awards were one for the record books. Things kicked off with an incredible performance from Dua Lipa and never slowed down. We saw records broken, long-time icons take the stage to perform and present, singers breaking through for their first awards and a host that managed to make it a fun event throughout.
Oh, and Taylor Swift announced a brand new album that nobody expected.

Overall, it was a fabulous evening celebrating music from last year. Here are some of the best moments of the night.
This performance was fantastic.
Legendary singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman’s beloved anthem “Fast Car” was one of the biggest songs of its time, and for good reason.
Country artist Luke Combs’ 2023 cover blew up the charts as the fresh take reminded everyone of how good the original was while putting a new, satisfying spin on it.
During Sunday’s latest Grammys ceremony, Chapman and Combs finally joined together to perform the song live, and everyone was thrilled to see this collaboration finally take place.
The two did a fantastic job of balancing out each other’s takes on the song, and everyone in the room at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles loved the performance.

All the viewers at home were thrilled to see Chapman and Combs take on the song together, as it put Chapman back in the spotlight to earn some very deserving love as her biggest hit re-entered the zeitgeist with Combs’ cover last year.
SZA, who has the most nominations of any musician this year, is also performing.
We have seen some incredible performances (like Kendrick Lamar stealing the show in 2016) at the Grammy Awards over the years.
During the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena on Feb. 4, music fans will have an opportunity to see some move very special moments.

Some of those musicians with the most nominations include SZA (nine), Billie Eilish (six) and Olivia Rodrigo (six) will take the stage to perform at the ceremony as well.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell will perform at the Grammy Awards for the first time. Meanwhile, U2 will broadcast a show from The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Tracy Chapman performed her hit song ‘Talkin Bout a Revolution’ on the eve of the American presidential election.
Tracy Chapman doesn’t make too many live performances these days, so when the legendary singer/songwriter comes out with one, we tend to pay attention.
Chapman performed last night on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she sang a pointed rendition of her song “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution” on the eve of the United States elections.
The song is off her 1988 debut album, which is self-titled. It was the second single after the first, “Fast Car.”
It’s a spare performance — nothing but a guitar and Chapman’s voice. But as she proved when she transfixed all of Wembley Stadium with those two things, that’s all Chapman really needs.
