Analyzing Monday’s Toronto Argonauts at Hamilton Tiger-Cats Week 13 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

A Week 13 Monday doubleheader in the CFL begins with the Toronto Argonauts (6-4) on the road to face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2-9). Kickoff from Tim Hortons Field is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET (CBS Sports Network/TSN). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Argonauts vs. Tiger-Cats odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

This is the second meeting between these teams this season. Hamilton beat the visiting Argonauts 27-24 as 3-point underdogs July 20 with the Under (53) cashing in.

Toronto has won 2 in a row and 3 out of its last 4 games. It is coming off a 20-19 home win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders Aug. 22, failing to cover as a 2-point favorite as the Under (50.5) cashed in.

The Tiger-Cats have lost 4 in a row after their only 2 wins of the season. Their last game was Aug. 23, a 26-23 road loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, though they did cover as 10.5-point underdogs as the Under (50) hit.

Argonauts at Tiger-Cats picks and predictions

Prediction

Argonauts 36, Tiger-Cats 24

Moneyline

The Tiger-Cats have given up the most points in the CFL, allowing 32.7 per game. Their only home win this season was over Toronto. But they have lost their last 4 games, allowing opponents to score 34.8 points per game.

The Argonauts (-245) only scored 20 last week, but average 27.9 points per game.

Hamilton’s defense will not be able to slow Toronto enough, but -245 odds aren’t worth a wager.

PASS.

Against the spread

The Argonauts are 4-6 ATS this season, while the Tiger-Cats are 3-8 ATS.

Hamilton lost last week by only 3 points, but the last 3 losses before that were all by at least 10.

Over/Under

Their first meeting had 51 total points.

Three of Toronto’s wins have had more than 52 total points.

Saskatchewan Roughriders at Toronto Argonauts odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Saskatchewan Roughriders at Toronto Argonauts odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (5-4-1) and Toronto Argonauts (5-4) meet Thursday for a Week 12 matchup at BMO Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (TSN/CFL+). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Roughriders vs. Argonauts odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Roughriders picked up a 30-23 win in Regina in Week 5 as a 4-point underdog while the Over (47) cashed. Saskatchewan hasn’t had a lot of success lately, going 0-3-1 straight up (SU) in the past 4 games, while going 1-3 against the spread (ATS).

For the Argonauts, they welcome QB Chad Kelly back from a 9-game suspension for violating the CFL’s gender-based violence policy. Last season’s most outstanding player will get the start in Week 12. He threw for 4,123 yards and 23 TDs last season.

Toronto has won 2 of the past 3 games, while going 2-1 ATS. The Argos have won and covered each of the previous 2 outings at home.

Roughriders at Argonauts picks and predictions

Prediction

Argonauts 33, Roughriders 22

Moneyline

If you’re a little on the conservative side, TORONTO (-154) is a solid play as a moderate favorite if you don’t want to play around with the points. Saskatchewan (+128) has managed just 1 tie with 3 losses in the past 4 outings.

Against the spread

A better play is going with TORONTO -2.5 (-118) laying the points. While it’s possible Kelly could have some rust after such a long layoff, facing struggling Saskatchewan +2.5 (-104) is a soft landing spot for his season debut.

The Argos have won 4 of the past 5 meetings since 2022, while holding a 3-2 ATS edge in the span. Toronto has won and covered the past 2 meetings at home, too.

Over/Under

OVER 50.5 (-105) is a strong play, as these teams usually combine for plenty of fireworks.

The Over cashed on July 4 in the 1st meetings, while the total has gone high at a 6-1 clip in the past 7 in this series since 2019.

For Saskatchewan, the Over is 7-3 in 10 games this season, including the 1st meeting with Toronto. For the Argos, the Over is 6-3 in 9 games this season, too.

Calgary Stampeders at Toronto Argonauts odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Calgary Stampeders at Toronto Argonauts Week 10 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Calgary Stampeders (4-4) and Toronto Argonauts (4-4) wrap up a home-and-home series at BMO Field Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (CFL+/TSN). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Stampeders vs. Argonauts odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Stampeders covered the spread as 3-point home favorites in a 27-23 win over the Argonauts Sunday with the Over (49.5) barely hitting. Calgary outscored Toronto 21-0 in the 4th quarter to cover for the 5th time in 6 games.

The Argonauts have lost 2 of their last 3 games, but are 3-1 at home this season. QB Nick Arbuckle will start Friday, as QB Cameron Dukes (leg) is listed as a game-time decision and QB Chad Kelly (suspension) remains ineligible.

Stampeders at Argonauts picks and predictions

Prediction

Stampeders 24, Argonauts 20

Moneyline

CALGARY (+110) is the safer bet — despite being disrespected by the market — as the Argonauts are now down to their 3rd-string QB. Arbuckle has been serviceable this season in relief (1 TD, 1 INT), but threw 11 TDs and 24 INTs in 42 games from 2021-2023.

The Argonauts are 3-1 straight up (SU) and 2-2 ATS at home. However, they likely would’ve been 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS if the Winnipeg Blue Bombers didn’t aggressively elect to go for it — and not covert — on a late 3rd down in Week 8.

BET STAMPEDERS (+110).

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread

The Stampeders should cover +1.5 (-105), but the ML at plus money is more attractive, especially if Dukes is announced out before kickoff.

PASS. Bet the ML and/or total instead.

Over/Under

The Under is 2-1 in the Argonauts’ last 3 games, and the Stampeders had to put up 21 points in the 4th quarter for it to not hit in Week 9. With Arbuckle starting Friday, don’t expect Toronto to be better than it has been over the last 3 weeks, averaging just 21 points per game.

BET UNDER 49.5 (-110).

Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Toronto Argonauts odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Toronto Argonauts odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2-5) and Toronto Argonauts (3-3) meet Saturday for a Week 8 clash at BMO Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (CBS Sports Network/TSN/CFL+). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Blue Bombers vs. Argonauts odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Blue Bombers suffered a 19-9 setback as 5-point road favorites at the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Week 7. The 9 points was a season low, so it’s no surprise the Under (49.5) easily cashed. Oddly enough, it came on the heels of a season-high in points after a 41-37 win as 6-point home favorites vs. the Calgary Stampeders in Week 6.

Winnipeg has had tremendous difficulty against the spread (ATS), going 1-6 ATS, including 0-2 in the past 2 outings. On the road, the Blue Bombers are 0-3 ATS. This is the 1st time the Bombers are listed as underdog this season.

The Argonauts are coming off a 27-24 loss at the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, failing to cover as 3-point favorites in The Hammer. Like Winnipeg, Toronto has had difficulty against the number, going 2-4 ATS, including 1-4 ATS in the past 5 outings. The Over has a slight 4-2 edge those 6 games.

Blue Bombers at Argonauts odds

Blue Bombers at Argonauts picks and predictions

Prediction

Argonauts 33, Blue Bombers 29

Moneyline

Backing Toronto (-111) straight up doesn’t make much sense, unless, of course, you are absolutely adamant this game ends with the Argos winning by only a single point. If not, and you’re backing Toronto, it’s cheaper to lay the points.

PASS.

Against the spread

TORONTO -1.5 (-104) is the better play, costing slightly less than the moneyline.

Neither of these teams elicits a lot of confidence from bettors against the number. The Argos are a dismal 1-4 ATS in the past 5 games, but at least they’ve covered twice this season. Winnipeg is just 1-6 ATS in 7 games, while failing to cover all 3 outings on the road.

In addition, the Argos have covered 3 of the past 4 meetings in this series, while cashing in each of the past 3 battles at BMO Field in Toronto.

Over/Under

OVER 48.5 (-110) is the best play on the board in this battle.

While the Blue Bombers have actually cashed low in 6 of 7 games to date, they’re just a game removed from a 41-37 shooting with Calgary.

For the Argos, they score a lot — and they give up a lot. Toronto has scored at least 20 points in all 6 games, while yielding 27 or more points in 4 of 6 outings.

The Week 7 schedule continues Saturday as the Toronto Argonauts (3-2) are on the road to face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (0-5). Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET at Tim Hortons Field. Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Argonauts vs. Tiger-Cats odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Argonauts, after winning their first 2 games of the season, snapped a 2-game losing streak last week with a 37-18 win over Montreal as 7-point underdogs. The Over (49.5) cashed in.

The Tiger-Cats remain winless this season. Dating back to last season, they have dropped 8 straight games. They last played July 7, losing at home to BC 44-28, failing to cover the 5.5-point spread as underdogs. The Over (53.5) cashed in.

Argonauts at Tiger-Cats picks and predictions

Prediction

Argonauts 33, Tiger-Cats 24

Moneyline

The Argonauts have scored over 30 points in all 3 of their wins this season.

Hamilton has scored between 22 and 30 points in all their its games this season.

Two of Toronto’s wins are at home. The Tiger-Cats are 0-3 on the road.

Expect the Argonauts to be victorious, but at that price, you get better value from the spread.

PASS.

Against the spread

The Tiger-Cats have not covered the spread yet this season and are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games including last year. They have scored the fewest points in the league this season with 124.

The Argonauts have covered the spread in 2 of their 3 wins. All 3 of their wins have been by at least 3 points.

BET ARGONAUTS -2.5 (-115).

Over/Under

The Over is 4-1 in Toronto’s 5 games this season.

It is 4-1 in Hamilton’s 5 games. Hamilton has had 4 of 5 games finish with 56 or more points.

Toronto Argonauts at Montreal Alouettes odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Toronto Argonauts at Montreal Alouettes Week 6 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Toronto Argonauts (2-2) and the Montreal Alouettes (5-0) meet Sunday for a Week 6 battle at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (TSN/CFL+). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Argonauts vs. Alouettes odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Argonauts fired out of the chute with 2 high-scoring victories to start the season. However, in Week 4, Toronto suffered its 1st loss of the season against the defending Grey Cup champ Alouettes, losing 30-20 as a 3-point underdog as the Under (50.5) cashed.

Toronto has scored at least 20 points in all 4 games to date, but it also has allowed at least 27 points in each outing, with 32.0 points per game (PPG) allowed in the previous 3 contests. The Over has cashed in 3 of 4 games this season.

The defending champs eased by the Calgary Stampeders at home in Week 6, winning 30-26, but Montreal failed to cover as 7.5-point favorites. The Als are 1-1 ATS in 2 home games, while the Over has cashed in both outings. The Under is 3-0 in Montreal’s 3 games on the road, including the Week 4 matchup in T-Dot.

Argonauts at Alouettes picks and predictions

Prediction

Alouettes 32, Argonauts 23

Moneyline

Montreal (-310) will set you back more than 3 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk for not nearly enough reward.

Toronto (+245) is a tempting play for the chance to more than double up, but it lost by 10 points at home to the Als just 2 weeks ago, and there is little reason to believe much has changed since.

AVOID.

Against the spread

MONTREAL -6.5 (-115) is worth a play laying the points, especially if this line remains under a flat 7.

Toronto +6.5 (-110) won outright as an underdog in Week 1, but it is 0-3 ATS in the past 3 outings since.

The Als have split its 2 games at home against the number, and Montreal is 1-1 ATS in 2 games as a favorite of 6.5 or more points.

Over/Under

OVER 50.5 (-112) is a great play based upon Toronto’s ineptitude on defense.

The Argos have allowed 30.8 PPG this season, ranking 8th in the CFL, while the Over has cashed in 3 of 4 games to date.

For Montreal, it has averaged 35.7 PPG in the past 3 games, while scoring 30 or more points in each of the outings. The Als have allowed at least 20 points in 4 straight games, too.

Toronto Argonauts at Saskatchewan Roughriders odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Toronto Argonauts at Saskatchewan Roughriders Week 5 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Toronto Argonauts (2-1) and Saskatchewan Roughriders (3-0) meet at Mosaic Stadium Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET (CFL+/TSN). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Argonauts vs. Roughriders odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Argonauts are a surprising 2-1 with QB Cameron Dukes filling in for QB Chad Kelly, who was suspended a minimum of 9 games for violating the CFL’s policy of gender-based violence. However, they’re coming off a 30-20 loss as 3-point home underdogs to the Montreal Alouettes Friday with the Under (50.5) hitting.

Before their Week 4 bye, the Roughriders covered as 2-point home favorites with a 36-20 win against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats June 23 as the Over (48) cashed. Saskatchewan improved to 3-0 straight up and against the spread (ATS), but lost QB Trevor Harris to a knee injury, which will sideline him 4 to 6 weeks.

Roughriders QB Shea Patterson will make his 1st career start; he was 4-for-10 for 41 yards in Week 3.

Argonauts at Roughriders picks and predictions

Prediction

Argonauts 21, Roughriders 20

Moneyline

The Argonauts (-225) will probably win straight up, but it’s hard to stay profitable long term if you’re laying -225.

PASS. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

The market is overreacting to the news that Harris will be out Thursday. While Patterson isn’t the ideal QB that you’d like to bet on, the Argonauts with a backup signal-caller should not be laying 4.5 points on the road. Since upsetting the BC Lions in their season opener, the Argonauts have gone 0-2 ATS, as the market continues to overvalue them.

Going against Toronto without Bane Jr., who led the CFL with 93 receptions last year, isn’t a great situation for Saskatchewan backers. However, RB AJ Ouellette and coach Corey Mace will have extra motivation to beat their former team, and catching 3.5 points at home doesn’t hurt, either.

BET ROUGHRIDERS +4.5 (-105).

Over/Under

A low-scoring game seems more likely with 2 backup QBs on the field and Bane Jr. not available. Mace will probably have the Roughriders prioritize the run game with Ouellette playing his former team, and the Argonauts’ luck on offense may be running out after scoring just 20 points against the Alouettes Friday.

BET UNDER 48.5 (-115).

Montreal Alouettes at Toronto Argonauts odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Montreal Alouettes at Toronto Argonauts Week 4 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Montreal Alouettes (3-0) and the Toronto Argonauts (2-0) meet Friday for a Week 4 battle at BMO Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (TSN/CFL+). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Alouettes vs. Argonauts odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The defending champion Alouettes are looking to show last season wasn’t a fluke. Montreal has won all 3 games to start the season, including an emphatic 47-21 win over the Ottawa RedBlacks last weekend as a 6.5-point favorite in the home opener as the Over (47.5) cashed.

The Als head out on the road where they are 2-0 this season, while going 1-1 against the spread (ATS). Montreal failed to cover as a 4-point favorite in a 23-20 win at Edmonton in Week 2 and opened the season with a 27-12 victory at Winnipeg as a 7.5-point underdog. The Under cashed in both road contests so far.

The Argonauts were expected to struggle with the CFL’s most outstanding player, QB Chad Kelly, suspended 9 games for violating the CFL’s gender-based violence policy. Instead, the Toronto offense has thrived, averaging 37.0 points per game (PPG) in a pair of wins and Over results to start the season.

Argos QB Cameron Dukes has completed a whopping 81.3% of his pass attempts for 468 yards with 5 TDs and no picks, while running for 54 yards and a pair of scores. New addition RB Ka’Deem Carey has averaged 4.8 yards per carry, helping take pressure off the pass game, while picking up 169 rushing yards and 1 TD.

Unfortunately for Toronto, Carey is listed as questionable due to a groin injury, so that’s a concern. In addition, leading receiver Dejon Brissett is out due to a knee ailment.

Alouettes at Argonauts picks and predictions

Prediction

Alouettes 30, Argonauts 23

Moneyline

MONTREAL (-165) is a solid play as a moderate favorite on the moneyline, as it isn’t priced out of line.

Toronto (+140) would be an attractive pick as a home underdog, but with Carey nursing a groin and his status in question, while leading receiver Brissett is out, the Als are the much safer play Friday.

Against the spread

MONTREAL -3 (-115) is a strong play laying the points on the road. While Dukes and Toronto have been strong on offense, it could have a different look if Carey is unable to play, putting more pressure on Dukes to perform.

The Als can do a little bit on offense, too, going for 47 points last weekend against the RedBlacks. Montreal piled up 394 passing yards, and 162 return yards, while also posting 96 yards on the ground. If the Als can cut down on the penalties, after committing 7 last weekend, it will be in even better shape. Montreal was plus-2 on turnovers, which is good news.

Over/Under

OVER 51.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.

The Als posted 47 points last weekend against the RedBlacks, but be careful, as the Under has cashed twice in 2 road contests for Montreal.

The Over has hit in both games to date for the Argonauts, who are averaging 37.0 points per game and allowing 31.5 PPG. Plus, the Over has cashed in 3 of the previous 4 meetings between these rivals at BMO Field.

Edmonton Elks at Toronto Argonauts odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Edmonton Elks at Toronto Argonauts Week 3 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Edmonton Elks (0-2) and Toronto Argonauts (1-0) meet at BMO Field Saturday. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET (CBS Sports Network/TSN) . Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Elks vs. Argonauts odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

Edmonton is on the road for the first time this season after 2 home losses. It is coming off a 23-20 loss to the Montreal Alouettes, covering the 4-point spread as underdogs with the Under (47.5) cashing in. Saturday will be QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson‘s first time facing Toronto, where he played 5 seasons and won 2 Grey Cups.

Toronto was idle last week but opened the season with a 35-27 home win over the BC Lions in Week 1 as 4-point underdogs. The Over (48) cashed in. QB Cameron Dukes was 21-of-27 passing for 254 yards with 3 TDs, stepping in for QB Chad Kelly, who was suspeneded a minimum of 9 games for violating the CFL’s policy of gender-based violence.

Elks at Argonauts picks and predictions

Prediction

Argonauts 31, Elks 24

Moneyline

The Elks have not scored more than 21 points in a game this year and are coming off back-to-back home losses, while Toronto (-215) scored 35 in its season-opening win.

Dating back to last season, Edmonton is on a 6-game losing streak.

Nothing in its first 2 games of the season showed that Edmonton can take down Toronto at BMO Field, but there’s no need to bet the Argonauts on the moneyline when you have to wager more than twice what you can win.

PASS.

Against the spread

The Argonauts covered the spread in their season opener. They have won the last 3 meetings against the Elks, winning each time by at least 5 points.

Dating back to last season, 5 of Edmonton’s last 6 losses have been by at least 8 points.

BET ARGONAUTS -4.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Argonauts’ only game this season had a total of 62.

The total in Edmonton’s opener was 50.

The last 3 meetings have all had totals over 50.

BET OVER 49.5 (-110).

BC Lions at Toronto Argonauts odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s BC Lions at Toronto Argonauts Week 1 odds and lines, with expert CFL picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The BC Lions and the Toronto Argonauts open their CFL regular seasons Sunday at BMO Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (CBS Sports Network/TSN/CFL+). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Lions vs. Argonauts odds, and make our expert CFL picks and predictions.

The Lions finished 11-5 in the regular season, and BC posted a 41-30 win over Calgary in the division semifinals before bowing out to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the division finals. BC finished 8-9-1 against the spread (ATS) last season, while the Over ended up with an 11-6-1 advantage, including the final 7 games of the regular season.

These teams met once last season, also in Toronto, with the Argonauts posting a 45-24 win as 3-point underdogs as the Over (47.5) easily connected. BC QB Vernon Adams Jr. passed for 388 yards and 3 TDs, but Toronto had a more balanced attack with 106 rushing yards, 249 passing yards and a whopping 362 return yards. Robertson Daniel capped off the scoring with a 62-yard INT for TD.

For the Argos, QB Chad Kelly was suspended at least 9 regular-season games for violating the CFL’s policy of gender-based violence following an investigation into a lawsuit filed by a former strength and conditioning coach against Kelly and the team. He was the CFL’s most outstanding player last season, and Toronto had a franchise-best 16-2 record.

QBs Nick Arbuckle and Cameron Dukes figure to vie for the primary reps under center until Kelly can return, but the Argos will have a much different look until such point. Defensively, Toronto is still strong, but it lost coordinator Corey Mace to the head coaching job in Saskatchewan this season.

Jake Ceresna, who had 12 sacks last season, was acquired from the Edmonton Elks for WR Kurleigh Gittens Jr. and a 7th-round pick in 2024.

BC Lions at Argonauts picks and predictions

Prediction

BC Lions 32, Argonauts 19

Moneyline

The BC Lions (-275) are a little on the pricey side, costing nearly 3 times your potential return. That’s a pretty steep price tag, but the Argonauts (+210) are a complete mess going into the season.

Arbuckle and Dukes will jockey for the starting gig under center until Kelly can return, but that’s a giant downgrade. Plus, Toronto is a little banged up for a team going into the opener, so that’s a concern.

PASS.

Against the spread

The BC LIONS -5.5 (-115) are worth backing for a much better value.

Last season, the Argonauts +5.5 (-105) were a buzzsaw, crushing the Lions in their only regular-season meeting. However, Toronto should struggle during the early going, so it’s a perfect scenario for BC to take advantage, go on the road and start off strong.

Over/Under

OVER 47.5 (-105) is the lean in this East-West rivalry, but be careful not to overdo it.

While the Lions offense should be purring, remember that the Argos are going to have a much different look. In last season’s Week 4 matchup, Toronto did most of the heavy lifting to make the total go high, and the Argos were an Over machine in 2023 down the stretch. But be cautious, as we don’t really know how the Toronto offense is going to look early on.
