ESPN exec: Aaron Rodgers made dumb and factually inaccurate joke

An ESPN executive called Aaron Rodgers ‘joke’ about Jimmy Kimmel ‘dumb and factually incorrect’

The repercussions about Aaron Rodgers “joke” about Jimmy Kimmel on “The Pat McAfee Show” have started from inside the WorldWide Leader.

One of the execs, who is in charge of the show, senior vice president of digital and studio production Mike Foss, spoke to Front Office Sports on Friday and criticized the comment by the New York Jets quarterback that tied the late-night host to the unsealing of Jeffrey Epstein’s court papers.

Foss said he expects Rodgers to continue as a guest on the show in his Tuesday slot.

“Pat announced today that he’s planning on Aaron joining the show Tuesday. Aaron made a dumb and factually inaccurate joke about Jimmy Kimmel,” Foss tells Front Office Sports on Friday. “The show will continue to evolve. It wouldn’t surprise me if Aaron’s role evolves with it.”

The best of Nick Saban on the Pat McAfee Show

One of the most enjoyable aspects of this season for the Crimson Tide is Nick Saban’s weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show. Every Thursday, Coach Saban joins the often erratic Pat McAfee to talk Alabama Crimson Tide football.

Even though the season is over for Coach Saban and the Tide, the GOAT once again joined McAfee this week to discuss his team’s unfortunate loss to Michigan in the Rose Bowl on Monday. Along with recapping what went wrong against the Wolverines, Coach Saban would also discuss why his retirement is such a popular subject at the moment.

Browns RG Wyatt Teller receives praise on The Pat McAfee Show

Cleveland Browns RG Wyatt Teller receives praise from A.Q. Shipley on the Pat McAfee Show

Cleveland Browns starting right guard Wyatt Teller received praise on The Pat McAfee Show. Former NFL lineman A.Q. Shipley showed the spotlight on Teller during his weekly In the Trenches segment. Teller was the puller on a power play and was the star of the show. One can tell how the run gets its name after watching Teller.

The former All-Pro wraps around the left side of the offensive line and lines up multiple Jaguars defenders to hit. Teller delivered a powerful one-arm punch to the linebacker Devin Lloyd sending him flying into safety Rayshawn Jenkins and knocking both players over.

The members of the Pat McAfee Show were amazed by the violence generated by Teller. How can one not be amazed when watching Teller? He’s a bully, a dancing bear, a throwback of the road graders who have paved the way for running backs for over a century. Teller is the embodiment of everything that makes football the perfect sport. He’s intelligent, technical, and strong. He’s a joy to watch in the brown and orange. He deserves another All-Pro award after this season.

Watch: Myles Garrett joined the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ to talk Cavs, anime and more

Myles Garrett went on the Pat McAfee Show to talk about Defensive Player of the Year, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and anime.

Myles Garrett joined the bombastic cast of the “Pat McAfee Show” to talk about his season so far. The conversation highlighted Garrett’s fun-loving nature. The interview lasted for twenty minutes and touched on many subjects as Garrett is quite the Renaissance man. Garrett even touched on the rivalry that has grown between him and T.J. Watt.

Pat McAfee started the interview with some much-needed therapy. The former Colts punter watched the Week 7 Browns-Colts game from a luxury suite near the endzone. McAfee saw up close how dominant Garrett was, nearly winning the game for the Browns by himself. McAfee told the story of watching Garrett hold a prolonged shrug after strip-sacking Gardner Minshew in the endzone, allowing the Browns to score a touchdown.

McAfee asked Garrett if he enjoyed playing home or away games. The franchise defensive end surprisingly said he enjoys away games more, as he loves to hear a crowd go silent in response to him. Garrett said the only thing he likes more is hearing his name chanted in away stadiums like against the Colts. It is a testament to the lengths that the Cleveland Browns’ strong fan base will go to support the team.

Garrett didn’t spend the interview tooting his own horn, he made sure to celebrate his teammates on and off the field. Garrett has a dedicated team of chefs, trainers, and physical therapists that keep him in top-notch condition during the four-month sport. Garrett also sang the praises of his teammates who are leading a historically dominant defense.

The interview makes sure to showcase Garrett’s other interests. His love for basketball and the Cavaliers is always fascinating to listen to. Garrett even showed off his esoteric interests as he gave a quick tour of his home office, full of kaiju and anime figurines, with a dinosaur mural painted on the wall. The scale of his figurines and art is truly a sight to behold.

Pat McAfee praises Notre Dame fans during Ohio State weekend

We already knew this, but not everyone else does.

Notre Dame might not have beaten Ohio State, but Irish fans are winners in Pat McAfee’s eyes. In the first episode of his show after his South Bend experience, McAfee did everything to praise the people who showed up ahead ahead of the contest. He drops some NSFW language here; otherwise, you need to hear what he had to say:

It’s amazing when an outsider confirms what Irish fans already knew about the fan base. Everyone who’s a part of it really does love football, and that’s why it hurt so badly to come so close to watch the Irish miss out on a signature win by the skin of their teeth. It was clear what a win would have meant, but that will have to wait for another day and possibly another season.

Don’t ever let anyone question how seriously Irish fans take their sport. They want a national champion, and hopefully, one will come once again.

Lou Holtz makes his pick for Notre Dame vs. Ohio State

Do you agree with Coach?

The anticipation for this [autotag]Notre Dame football[/autotag] is weekend is getting to all of us, but as we wait until Saturday evening, there are plenty of people making their projections for the Ohio State game.

One of those selections was by legendary Irish head coach [autotag]Lou Holtz[/autotag]. The leader of the most recent Notre Dame football championship team in 1988, joined [autotag]The Pat McAfee Show[/autotag], which was on campus for their broadcast on Friday afternoon.

Holtz believes the Irish will win by 10 points and thinks the “Notre Dame is a better football team than Ohio State.” He cites the Irish’s offensive protecting quarterback [autotag]Sam Hartman[/autotag] and opening up running lanes for the backs.

Not only that, Holtz has faith in the Irish receivers and the defensive line is better.

Saturday night can’t get here sooner, can it?
