Several 2025 Texas A&M signees have joined the Aggies in Las Vegas

Three of Texas A&M’s 2025 commits joined the Aggies in Las Vegas before taking on USC on Friday

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class features some of the best high school athletes in the country, including four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail and four-star Edge Marco Jones, two of the top defenders out of California.

This Friday, Texas A&M faces USC in the annual Las Vegas Bowl, having concluded the regular season with an 8-4 record. Coach Mike Elko’s first season has been successful in comparison to other first-year head coaches in the SEC.

The Aggies can capture their first nine-win season with a victory against the Trojans. While several players on the roster need to step up and show out in the final game of the year, TexAgs’ Ryan Brauninger reported that Noah Mikhail, Marco Jones, and four-star cornerback and Aggie signee Cobey Sellers have joined the team in Vegas.

This highlights the culture that Mike Elko and his team are fostering in College Station. All three players are not only skilled athletes but also perfect fits for the program, poised to excel both on and off the field as they officially join the Texas A&M Aggies.

Texas A&M will face USC in the Las Vegas Bowl on Friday, December 27, at 9:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPN.

Texas A&M 2025 4-star QB commit has finished his impressive 2024 season

Texas A&M freshman QB Brady Hart is bringing a ton of HS production to the Aggies QB room in 2025

Texas A&M’s 2025 quarterback room looks much improved on paper after the Aggies landed a commitment from veteran Jacob Zeno from the transfer portal earlier this month, while incoming freshman Brady Hart represents the quarterback signee in A&M’s 2025 class.

After five-star QB Husan Longstreet flipped his commitment from the Aggies to the program’s upcoming Las Vegas Bowl opponent, USC, Hart flipped his commitment from Michigan to A&M and reclassified from the 2026 recruiting class.

Hart should be entering his senior year by the time he steps on campus. Still, after hearing from multiple sources inside the program, Hart’s future is exceptionally bright if he stays the course during his freshman season:

“He’s a winner, first and foremost. He has the intangibles you want at the quarterback position. You know when he walks in the room. Big-time players want to play with him. The little things, the details, they are important to him.”

In addition to being an intelligent player with strong leadership qualities, Hart completed his best season, culminating in a State Championship. He achieved impressive statistics, completing 265 out of 390 passes for 4,360 yards and 40 touchdown throws, which led the FHSAA in passing. Had he thrown for an additional 100 yards, he would have set the Florida state passing record.

Hart will enter Texas A&M’s quarterback room with the determination to beat out the players in front of him. In contrast, Marcel Reed and Jacob Zeno will enter the season at the 1-2 options, while Hart will battle incoming sophomore Myles O’Neill for the No. 3 job.

Texas A&M 2025 4-star RB commit Jamarion Morrow looks like a star in the making

2025 4-star RB and Texas A&M signee Jamarion Morrow has some De’Von Achane to his game

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is all wrapped up after Early Signing Day saw coach Mike Elko and his staff sign 25 prospects, including two former Missouri commits and the surprise signing of five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.

While Myles and five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers stick out the most due to their high rankings, one of the biggest acquisitions that could produce immediate results is four-star running back Jamarion Morrow, one of the two Missouri flips alongside Rogers.

Needing depth and added versatility at running back next season, Morrow’s two-way playing history and impressive speed, quickness, and vision mirrors former Texas A&M star running back and current Miami Dolphins star De’Von Achane. Morrow’s footwork and ballerina-like feet make him a threat to score whenever he touches the ball.

Right now, incoming senior running back Amari Daniels alongside Reuben Owens are slated to return, while star running back Le’Veon Moss could opt to return if he doesn’t declare for the 2025 NFL Draft within the coming weeks.

Morrow joins 2025 four-star running back Deondrae “Tiger” Riden, as both players could have been used during the 2024 season after Moss’s season-ending injury.

2025 3-star QB out of Montgomery (TX) has officially signed with Texas A&M

Texas A&M has officially signed 2025 3-star QB Eli Morcos

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is wrapped up after Wednesday’s Early Signing Day produced 24 signees, including five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.

According to nearly every recruiting ranking, including ESPN, 247Sports, and On3, the Aggies’ 2025 cycle is ranked 9th overall and even higher in several composite rankings. So, hats off to head coach Mike Elko and his staff for landing a second consecutive top-10 recruiting class.

However, one member of the class, three-star quarterback Eli Morcos, took a couple more days to put pen to paper, making things official on Friday afternoon as one of the more underrated signal callers is headed to Aggieland this spring and is definitely a name to watch within the 2025 QB depth chart.

Standing at 6-2 and 200 pounds, Morcos may not be listed as a true dual-threat quarterback, but his tape begs to differ. Morcos finished his 2025 season with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions for 2,144 yards through the air.

Morcos averaged 5.2 yards per carry on the ground, producing 471 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

According to 247Sports, Morcos is currently positioned as the 94th-ranked quarterback and the 260th-ranked prospect in Texas.

‘You see some insane freshman deals’ HC Mike Elko spoke on NIL and Texas A&M’s 2025 class

Texas A&M HC Mike Elko was bullish in stating that the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class wasn’t bult on NIL initiatives

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is nearly wrapped up after signing 24 prospects, led by a pair of late five-star additions in offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and wide receiver Jerome Myles. Finishing with a top 10-ranked class (9th), Elko and his staff are now focused on adding veteran talent from the transfer portal.

On Wednesday afternoon, after adding every prospect in the Aggies’ 2025 class put pen to paper, Texas A&M coach Mike Elko spoke to the local media for the second time since the Aggies’ season-finale loss to rival Texas, noting the versatility of the athletes that fit was the program is building.

However, regarding the current Texas-based NIL law that doesn’t allow Texas college programs to pay athletes directly, Elko was asked if that law impacted the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class, especially if the law led to losing out on potential flips.

“NIL didn’t play a role in our inability to land anyone.”

“That was more of an internal plan than it was a lack or resources. You have to be really careful with how you manage that thing and how you manage the culture of your program.”

While rival fanbases will throw dirt on this quote, especially the Texas Longhorns, who deserve credit for landing the No. 1-ranked 2025 class (247Sports), Elko is right to prioritize the athletes who fit what he is attempting to build from a culture perspective, and not go after a recruit based on his recruiting ranking.

Elko’s most revealing quote was a message to every other program concerning potential locker room issues regarding astronomical NIL deals for true freshmen, including 2025 five-star QB Bryce Underwood’s rumors of a $10 million deal with Michigan after flipping from LSU.

“You see some insane freshmen deals.

“I would like to know how the upperclassmen in their program feel when these freshmen come in making five times more than the returning starter.”

Mike Elko is not opposed to NIL, as we saw in the Aggies’ 2024 recruiting class and several transfer portal additions, including defensive end Nic Scourton.

Versatility was the theme of Texas A&M HC Mike Elko’s Early Signing Day press conference

Texas A&M made it a point to be more dynamic with the 2025 signing class

While Texas A&M fans wait for what bowl game the team can start prepping for, the focus has switched to the future of Aggie football. Unless a blue-chip recruit becomes available, coach Mike Elko has locked up his 2024 recruiting class on Early Signing Day.

One apparent thing is that Texas A&M needed to be more dynamic as a team. Elko emphasized getting winners who excel in two or more sports to accomplish that goal.

With a full season under his belt, he saw the gaps that needed to be filled and did a great job recruiting several players who could be potential game-breakers. Elko pointed out how well multi-sport athletes translate to higher levels.

“If you study the NFL Draft, there is a large percentage of players in the NFL Draft that are multi-sport high school athletes.”

2025 signees like five-star OL Lamont Rodgers, who was a standout basketball and soccer player at his high school is just one of the examples, while four-star DL Marco Jones will also play baseball for coach Mike Earley during the spring at Texas A&M. Another trait we saw in the class was speed, something this year’s team lacked.

2025 3-star OL Connor Carty has found his new home

2025 3-star OL Connor Carty has signed with Texas Tech

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is all but wrapped up after Wednesday’s Early Signing Day, which resulted in 24 signees, including five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles and five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers.

Regarding positional strengths, Elko and O-line coach Adam Cushing landed six commitments in the offensive trenches after Rogers officially signed after flipping from Missouri. Due to these commitments, one of the Aggies’ longtime offensive line commits, three-star Connor Carty, decommitted on Monday afternoon.

Knowing the talent in front of him, Carty made a business decision for his playing future. As of Wednesday, the Prosper, Texas native has committed and signed with Texas Tech and is the 10th-ranked signee in the Red Raiders 2025 cycle.

Carty was one of head coach Mike Elko’s early commits in the 2025 class, while O-line coach Adam Cushing has already proven his elite recruiting skillset after landing Rogers, who could start as soon as the 2025 season.

Where does Texas A&M Football’s recruiting class rank? Best players, biggest steals, more

Texas A&M football landed 24 players on early signing day, including 5-star WR Jerome Myles. We rank the Aggies’ recruiting class, looking at the best players and biggest steals.

Texas A&M’s 2024 season ended disappointingly after losing to Texas (11-1, 7-1 SEC) in the revival of the Lone Star Showdown, as the Aggies were just two wins away from earning a College Football Playoff spot. Still, the future is bright under head coach Mike Elko.

During his first season, Elko dealt with many injury issues, including losing star running back Le’Veon Moss. The quarterback roundtable ended with Marcel Reed taking over permanently. Still, the redshirt freshman ended the season 0-3 in SEC play.

The 2025 recruiting class took center stage during Early Signing Day on Wednesday, as the Aggies signed 24 prospects, led by five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles and five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers. The Aggies’ haul was impressive and, most importantly, a productive class of prospects with “winning mentalities,” as Elko noted on Wednesday afternoon:

“We wanted to find winners. When you talk about closing, winning, winning championships, that’s a habit. I’m excited that seven of our commits are still playing and fighting to win state championships.”

However, you may have seen stories with glowing reviews of the Texas Longhorn’s Top 5 class while the Aggies dropped in the rankings. Measured by the amount of five stars, this makes sense, as Myles and Rogers represent A&M’s five-star signees.

In 247Sports and ESPN’s 2025 class rankings, the Aggies finished 9th, Elko’s second consecutive Top 10-ranked recruiting class.

Again, ignoring the lack of five-star prospects is key, as nearly every signed prospect has a chance to contribute next season. Four-star running back Jamarion Morrow, one of the most electric offensive weapons, adds immediate depth to the RB room.

Defensively, signing defensive linemen Chace Sims, DJ Sanders, and linebacker Noah Mikhail is big news after rumors regarding potential flips were squashed on Wednesday morning.

Still, Jerome Myles has a chance to become an immediate starter and instant contributor in the passing game, giving QB Marcel Reed another playmaker with the speed to take the top of the defense.

Here are the Top 10 ranked teams in 247Sports’ 2025 recruiting rankings:

  1. Texas
  2. Alabama
  3. Georgia
  4. Oregon
  5. Ohio State
  6. Auburn
  7. Michigan
  8. LSU
  9. Texas A&M
  10. Tennessee

2025 4-star OL out of Prosper (TX) has decommitted from Texas A&M

2025 4-star OL Connor Carty will look at other options moving forward

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has already seen an influx of talent ahead of Early Signing Day on Wednesday, as head coach Mike Elko and his staff have already flipped three prospects as of Tuesday afternoon, led by five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers.

However, Rogers’ commitment, along with those of fellow offensive line commits Marcus Garcia, Tyler Thomas, and Joshua Moses, led to the unsurprising announcement that 4-star OL Connor Carty will decommit from Texas A&M and consider other options.

In terms of O-line scouting, Carty is the definition of underrated. He possesses the size and versatility at guard or center and is already an explosive run blocker at his current developmental state.

Carty was one of head coach Mike Elko’s early commits in the 2025 class, while O-line coach Adam Cushing has already proven his elite recruiting skillset after landing Rogers, who could start as soon as the 2025 season.

Texas A&M flips 2025 4-star ATH out of Memphis (TN) from Missouri

2025 4-star running back/athlete Jamarion Morrow has flipped from Missouri to Texas A&M

Boom! Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko is putting the finishing touches on his first complete recruiting class in the 2025 cycle as Early Signing Day begins on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the Aggies flipped their second Missouri commit after landing 5-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, as 4-star athlete/running back Jamarion Morrow followed suit just hours later.

Morrow’s connection with head coach Mike Elko and his staff has been brewing over the last few weeks. The Aggies need running back depth heading into next season after Le’Veon Moss’s season-ending injury basically ruined the offensive game plan during the latter half of the 2024 season.

During the bulk of his high school playing career, Morrow has been a two-way player. He accounted for over 1,200 all-purpose yards and 12 touchdowns while recording 24 tackles and four interceptions during his 2023 junior season.

Morrow will add immediate depth to a running back room likely featuring Amari Daniels, Reuben Owens, freshman Deondre “Tiger” Riden, and possibly Le’Veon Moss.

According to 247Sports, Morrow is currently positioned as the 28th-ranked athlete and the 15th-ranked prospect in Tennessee.
