Tennis bounces back this weekend after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has swept the world. Being the first sport back should bode well for the tennis community as well as sports fans looking for live sports on television.

Two-time ATP titlist Reilly Opelka and US Open semifinalist Matteo Berrettini will headline the three-day round-robin tournament in West Palm Beach, Florida.

UTR Pro Match Series Tennis

  • Date: Friday, May 8 – Sunday, May 10

The tournament will feature social distancing rules enforced by the tournament staff. There will be no handshakes, no spectators, no ball kids, and no line judges. Each player will have their own set of marked balls for use during the match. This weekend will feature the men and following in two weeks they will feature an all women’s weekend from May 22-24.

Four ATP men’s players that will be competing in this weekend’s inaugural edition will be Miomir Kexmanovic, Hubert Hurkacz, Reilly Opelka, and Tommy Paul.  Andy Roddick will provide color commentary via Skype during the weekend’s matches.
