Will the Jaguars-Colts game in Week 18 be on TV in your area?

Here’s where Sunday’s game will be locally broadcast on CBS.

Jacksonville is oh-so-close to putting the 2021 season behind it, but before that can happen, it has one more game with draft implications on the line. If the Jags lose the season finale against Indianapolis, they will secure the first overall pick in the 2022 draft. With a win, they could find themselves picking second, instead, if Detroit can spring an upset against the Green Bay Packers.

On the football end, there isn’t much to talk about for this one. The Jags are coming off an embarrassing 50-10 loss at the hands of the New England Patriots, and the Colts can clinch the final AFC playoff spot with a victory. There will certainly be a motivation imbalance, and all the Jags can hope for is that rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence shows something in this game that he can build on heading into his sophomore season.

Watching this game is ill-advised according to most health experts in the United States, but if you really must, it will be televised locally on CBS in the blue-shaded area on the map below, according to 506Sports.

As you can see, CBS wants as few people to see this game as legally possible. It will only be shown in the area surrounding Jacksonville and in a portion of the midwest that includes most of the states of Indiana and Illinois, as well as a small portion of Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan. Greg Gumbel and Adam Archuleta will be on the call.

The Jaguars will try to end the season on a high note and avoid a winless finish in the AFC South while also knocking a rival out of the postseason on Sunday.

Will the Jaguars-Patriots game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can watch the Jaguars’ Week 17 matchup locally on CBS.

Jacksonville sits at 2-13 and has already been eliminated from playoff contention, but it has two more games left before it can turn its attention to the coaching search and building around Trevor Lawrence during the offseason. First up is a road matchup against the New England Patriots in a game where cold temperatures will almost certainly be a factor.

The Patriots are a likely playoff team and have found a lot of success with rookie quarterback Mac Jones, and we’ll get to see two rookies on very different trajectories this season face off against each other. The Jaguars are heavy underdogs against 9-6 New England, but if you want to watch the game on your local CBS station, it will be televised within the orange shaded area below, per 506Sports.

It will be shown in most of the northeastern part of Florida, going down south to the Orlando area and up into portions of Georgia and South Carolina. Up north, the game will be shown throughout the entirety of Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, as well as through most of Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and a small portion of New York. Once again, Andrew Catalon and James Lofton will be on the call for CBS.

Jacksonville hasn’t had many positives this season, but the two wins have come against AFC East teams who would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. It will look for its third such win on Sunday against a Patriots team coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Will the Jaguars-Jets game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where the Jags game will be locally broadcast on CBS Sports.

Jacksonville is limping down the finishing stretch of the 2021 season. The team sits at 2-12 on the season and is coming off a 14-point loss to fellow AFC bottom-feeder Houston. Trevor Lawrence’s rookie season hasn’t gone according to plan, as a lack of support around him on offense has limited his production considerably.

To make matters worse, the conduct of coach Urban Meyer led to him being fired just 13 games into his Jacksonville tenure, and this team will be undergoing yet another coaching search this offseason.

But there are three more games before we get there, and first up is a road matchup against a New York Jets team that hasn’t fared much better. The Jets are 3-11, and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson has struggled even more than Lawrence. To make matters worse, the team could be without 15 players and coach Robert Saleh after they all were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Jags could be dealing with COVID issues themselves, though. Three starters were placed on the list in Josh Allen, Laviska Shenault Jr., and Ben Bartch, and since Allen is unvaccinated, he has been ruled out for the game.

If you’re trying to watch this game on television, the matchup between AFC welterweights will be locally televised on CBS in the green-shaded area below, per 506Sports.

The game will be televised in most of north Florida and south Georgia, as well as a small portion of southern South Carolina. Up north, the game will be shown in the areas surrounding New York City, extending throughout most of New Jersey. Spero Dedes and Jay Feely will be on the call for the 1 p.m. kickoff.

Jacksonville doesn’t have much to play for anymore, and it’s debatable that winning this game would be a negative, as the team is currently in position to pick first overall in the 2022 draft but would move to No. 4 with a win this week. Still, fans should want to see Lawrence outperform Wilson in a battle between No. 1 and No. 2 picks that doesn’t look nearly as interesting as it did before the season.

Will the Jaguars-Texans game be on TV in your area?

The matchup between AFC bottom-feeders will be locally televised on CBS at 1 p.m. EST.

The first time the Jacksonville Jaguars faced off against the Houston Texans this year, it didn’t go very well. In the first game of what would prove to be coach Urban Meyer’s only season in Jacksonville, the Jags lost 37-21 as the defense struggled and Trevor Lawrence tossed three interceptions in his debut.

But it’s been 14 weeks since then, and a lot has changed for both teams. The Texans have a new quarterback as Tyrod Taylor, was benched this month. Davis Mills, a third-round rookie out of Stanford, has stepped up, and his rookie season hasn’t gone much better than Lawrence’s. Houston has also since traded one of its best offensive players in running back Mark Ingram II.

Jacksonville, meanwhile, has more personnel continuity (though it is now without receivers D.J. Chark Jr. and Jamal Agnew), but it has made a big picture change. Meyer was fired on Thursday night, and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will take on the interim role for the final four weeks of the season. Bevell also served as an interim in Detroit for five games last season after the Lions fired coach Matt Patricia.

For the 2-11 Jaguars, a matchup with a fellow 2-11 team in Houston presents one of only two remaining games that seem winnable, the other being against the New York Jets. The Jags will look to triple their win total from a year ago on Sunday, and for those wanting to catch the game at 1 p.m. EST, it will be broadcast locally on CBS within the orange shaded area below, per 506Sports.

As you can see, the matchup between the two worst teams in the AFC isn’t getting broadcast very far beyond the range it is contractually required to. Very few out-of-market areas will get this game, with its coverage primarily restricted to northeast Florida and the area surrounding the city of Houston. A small sliver of southeast Georgia will also receive the game. For the few who will be able to watch it, Andrew Catalon and James Lofton will be on the call.

It’s been a very frustrating season for the Jaguars, and it’s likely not going to get much better. But with a win on Sunday, they could at least avoid a sweep at the hands of a division rival and one of the worst team’s in football while giving the home crowd its second win of the season at TIAA Bank Field. That’s really all the 2021 Jaguars can hope for, at this point.

Will the Jaguars-Titans Week 14 matchup be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can watch Sunday’s division showdown locally on CBS.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are licking their wounds after a 37-7 beatdown last week at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams, and they hit the road yet again this weekend to take on another likely playoff team in the Tennessee Titans. The Titans won the first matchup in this division rivalry in October in a 37-19 beatdown, but now they will have to take on a 2-10 Jags team without star running back Derrick Henry, who is currently on the injured reserve.

Henry isn’t the only offensive player the Titans will be without, either. Receiver A.J. Brown has also been placed on the injured reserve, and though veteran Julio Jones is set to return from his stint on the IR, Jacksonville also gets its best player in the secondary back in Shaquill Griffin, who missed the last two games with a concussion.

The Jags have many problems on both sides of the ball, but with the defense back at full strength against a Tennessee offense that isn’t the same as it was earlier in the year, they could have a chance. A good game for the passing offense and quarterback Trevor Lawrence could increase those chances considerably, as the Titans’ defense is just alright and struggles quite a bit against the pass.

But the Jaguars’ offense has been anemic, and that will be easier said than done. If you want to see if Jacksonville can pull off its first win in Nashville since 2013, the game will be locally broadcast on CBS at 1 p.m. EST in the yellow-shaded area below, per 506Sports.

As you can see, the game will be televised within most of north Florida west to Tallahassee and south to Orlando, as well as most of South Georgia and parts of South Carolina. It will also be available in most of the state of Tennessee and select portions of Kentucky, Illinois, North Carolina, Virginia, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama, as well as an added sliver of north Georgia. Spero Dedes and Jay Feely will be on the call for CBS.

Jacksonville’s season has been mostly a disaster under first-year coach Urban Meyer, but a win over the Titans for the first time since 2019 would be a nice progress marker for the squad.

Will the Jaguars-Rams game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can watch the Jags locally on FOX this weekend.

Coming off a 21-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the road doesn’t get any easier. The Jacksonville Jaguars now head to the West Coast, where their struggles have been frequent, to take on one of the most talented teams in football in the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams sit at 7-4 and possess the No. 4 passing offense in the league led by Matthew Stafford, a new addition to the team in 2021. Though the Rams have struggled a bit in recent weeks as Stafford has thrown a pick-six in each of the last three games, this is an opportunity to get right against a Jaguars secondary that will be without arguably its best player in No. 1 cornerback Shaquill Griffin.

Griffin missed the game against the Falcons, as well, and it resulted in the best game of rookie Tyson Campbell’s career. But Campbell will face a much tougher test this week, and he and Nevin Lawson (who will start in place of Griffin) will have their hands full.

Pair the Rams’ explosive offense with one of the best front fours in football, and it could be a long afternoon for the Jaguars in Los Angeles. Still, if you want to watch the Jags’ game locally on FOX at 4:05 EST, it will be available in the orange shaded areas below, per 506sports.

As you can see, the game will only be televised in Florida within the areas surrounding Jacksonville, as well as a small portion of southeast Georgia. On the West Coast, it will be available throughout most of southern California. Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez, who played college football in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California, will be on the call for FOX.

The Jaguars have already pulled off one upset over a potential playoff team in the Buffalo Bills. They will look for another this week despite a 3-14 record all-time when playing on the West Coast.

Will the Jaguars-Falcons game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can watch the Jags on TV this Sunday.

Jacksonville will be back in action on Sunday looking for a win after dropping its last two games against the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers. This time, the Atlanta Falcons come to town for the game that was added as the 17th game on the schedule, and while they sit at just 4-6 on the season, they still have an outside shot at the playoffs in an NFC that isn’t very strong beyond the top teams.

Still, as we’ve seen this season, wins don’t come easy for this Jaguars team, and it will need to play much better on the offensive side of the ball to have a chance in this one. For fans trying to watch the game on TV, it will be locally broadcast on FOX within the yellow-shaded area below, per 506Sports.

As you can see, the game will be available throughout almost the entire state of Georgia in addition to the Jacksonville area. It will also be televised in small portions of South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez will be on the call for the game, which kicks at 1 p.m. EST.

The Falcons aren’t particularly good on either side of the ball, but they do have some weapons on offense, namely running back Cordarrelle Patterson (who is questionable) and rookie tight end Kyle Pitts, who could be a matchup nightmare for a secondary that will be without No. 1 cornerback Shaquill Griffin.

The Jaguars will look to get back in the win column after a two-week absence and earn their third win in 2021.

Will the Jaguars-49ers game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can watch the Jags game against San Francisco on FOX this weekend.

Jacksonville returns home to face the San Francisco 49ers after a disappointing showing last week in Indianapolis. The Colts jumped out to a 17-0 lead, and while the defense played much tighter after that point, the offense couldn’t do enough to complete the comeback as the Jaguars lost by six.

Now, they face a San Francisco team that is coming off one of the most surprising wins of the season when it dominated the Super Bowl-contending Los Angeles Rams in a 31-10 victory. The 49ers have a very solid defense and some explosive weapons on offense, which will ensure a victory on Sunday doesn’t come easy.

Jacksonville will look to get back in the win column for just the third time this season against a 4-5 San Francisco team on Sunday. The game will be televised locally on FOX at 1 p.m. EST. It will be televised in areas shaded orange on the coverage map below, per 506Sports.

The game will have Chris Myers and Daryl Johnston on the call, and it will be shown in a smaller area than most of the Jags’ games have been this season. Only fans in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia will be able to watch the game on the east coast.

The west coast features a larger coverage area that includes all but the southern third of California, in addition to parts of southern Oregon and western Nevada.

The Jags are just 2-7 in what has been a disappointing Year 1, even taking into account that the team was expected to struggle. Though they face a San Francisco team with a lot of momentum, this is yet another winnable game for this team.

Will the Jaguars-Bills game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can catch the Jaguars game on CBS on Sunday afternoon.

Many thought Jacksonville’s road trip to Seattle last week represented a winnable game, as the team was without quarterback Russell Wilson and sat at just 2-5. But even with Geno Smith under center, it didn’t matter as the Seahawks surged to a 31-7 win.

The road only gets tougher this week as one of the best teams in the NFL comes to Jacksonville. The Buffalo Bills sit at 5-2 and lead the AFC East, and with an MVP candidate at quarterback in Josh Allen, winning this game won’t be easy.

In fact, it’s one of Jacksonville’s toughest matchups all season, and when the team kicks off against the Bills at TIAA Bank Field at 1 p.m. Saturday, it will do so as the biggest underdog in the NFL this week. For fans looking to watch the game locally on CBS, it will be broadcast in the orange-brown shaded areas below, per 506sports.

In addition to most of north Florida from Jacksonville to Tallahassee, the game will be televised in the southeastern part of Georgia and the extreme southern part of South Carolina. It will also be shown throughout western New York and into parts of northern Pennsylvania. Further, fans in select parts of Wyoming and Nebraska will be able to watch the game, likely as a result of the fan base Allen developed while in college at Wyoming.

Andrew Catalon and James Lofton will be on the call for CBS.

The Jaguars sit at just 1-6 and hope to salvage something from the second half of this season. But a win on Sunday is exceedingly unlikely, and it would represent what would probably be the biggest upset of the NFL season.

Will the Jaguars-Titans game be on TV in your area?

Here’s where you can watch Sunday’s game on local television.

The road doesn’t get much easier for the 0-4 Jacksonville Jaguars. After losing in Thursday Night Football on a heartbreaking game-winning kick as time expired, the team returns home to face the 2-2 division-leading Tennessee Titans.

It’s been a disappointing start to the year for the Titans, who aren’t playing very good defense right now. They’re also a very injured squad who could be down several starters for Sunday’s game.

Still, Tennessee presents challenges, namely in NFL leading rusher Derrick Henry, who is once again having a dominant start to the season.

Jaguars fans wanting to catch this game will have a slightly larger geographical window than they have in the last few weeks. Per 506Sports, the 1 p.m. kickoff game will be televised in the turquoise-shaded area below.

That includes most of North Florida from Jacksonville to Tallahassee and a good portion of southern Georgia. The game will be locally broadcast through the entire state of Tennessee, as well, and most of the northern half of the state of Alabama will also receive this game.

Fans in select areas of South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Mississippi will also be able to watch the game on their local CBS affiliate. On the call will be Tom McCarthy and Tiki Barber.

The Jaguars are underdogs in this one, but not as much as one might expect for a team that has yet to earn a mark in the win column, including a loss against a Houston Texans team that hasn’t been competitive since.

A win over arguably their biggest division rival would go a long way toward righting the ship in Jacksonville.
