Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour kicked off on Friday night in Sydney, Australia (morning in the United States). The now 14-time Grammy winner will be touring almost non-stop for the entire year, and at each show she adds two “surprise songs” to her 44-song, three hour plus set list.

For the first night in Sydney, Swift kicked off the surprise songs with the long-awaited “How You Get The Girl” from 1989, a song she played at an Atlanta show in April of 2023. Sabrina Carpenter — Swift’s opening act that had her performance cut due to weather on Friday night — joined for the second surprise song, a mashup performance of “White Horse” from Fearless and “Coney Island” from Evermore.

Swift will perform three more shows in Sydney before heading to Singapore.

Swift will now head to Sydney for four shows.

On guitar, she played a combination of “Getaway,” from Reputation, “August” from Folklore and “The Other Side of the Door” from Fearless. On piano, she went with “This is Me Trying” from Folklore.

Swift will be in Melbourne for one more night before heading to Sydney for four shows.
