Stock up, stock down from Colts’ 2023 season

The Colts’ stock report from the 2023 season.

When we take a look back at the 2023 season for the Indianapolis Colts, it was a good year for the franchise with several players having their best seasons of their career while having some setting new career-highs.

Finding players who raised their stock was easy but narrowing it down to a few was debated heavily. I went with the ones I believe saw a significant increase. As far as for players who saw their stock drop, that was a little more difficult.

There was a clear one who’s performance dropped off from 2022 but for the last two spots, I went with players that could’ve made more of an impact with their time spent on the field.

Let’s take a look at six Colts’ players who either saw a rise or fall in their stock from the past season:

Stock up, stock down: LSU gets 10 wins in Brian Kelly’s first season

Things are only trending up for the Tigers after the big win.

A lot of you have seen this list all season long. We go over the positives and negatives of each game.

I’ve got a different approach as the LSU Tigers came away with an emphatic win over the Purdue Boilermakers in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. On Monday, the stocks only went up.

There were only three negative things that happened in the game: One, Purdue converted a fake punt for a first down. Two, Nussmeier threw an interception. Three, Purdue scored in the fourth quarter. Other than that, this was about as flawless as the Tigers could’ve played.

Brian Kelly notched his first 10-win season as the coach of LSU, and the future looks bright on the Bayou.

Stock Up, Stock Down: Recapping the loss to Texas A&M

Here’s how LSU’s stock is trending after the disappointing loss.

Well, that didn’t go according to plan.

LSU lost to Texas A&M in its last regular season game of the year, ending its College Football Playoff hopes. To get into the CFP, LSU needed to beat Texas A&M and Georgia in back-to-back weeks, but Jimbo Fisher had other plans.

All overall records fly out the window when it comes to rivalry games. The last time these teams played in College Station, the game went to seven overtimes. The Aggies had one of the worst offenses in the SEC while LSU had one of the best defenses in the conference.

None of that mattered Saturday night as the Aggies outgained LSU 429-384. Here’s how LSU’s stock is trending after the disappointing loss.

Stock Up, Stock Down: Successful Senior Night as LSU takes care of UAB

The Tigers breezed past UAB in the final home game of the year.

LSU avoided an upset as it beat the UAB Blazers 41-10 on a late night in Death Valley.

It was a crazy day of college football as Tennessee lost to South Carolina, TCU beat Baylor with a last-second field goal and Ohio State barely escaped Maryland with a win. Thankfully, LSU didn’t seem to have any issues getting the job done against UAB.

The Tigers will face Texas A&M on the road next week for the final game of the regular season before facing Georgia for the SEC Championship. Here’s who stood out for LSU in a blowout win in the final home game of the year.

Stock Up, Stock Down: Bringing the Golden Boot back to the Boot

Here’s how things are trending after the Tigers clinched the SEC West.

In Brian Kelly’s first season as the head coach of the LSU Tigers, he will coach in Atlanta for an SEC Championship.

The Tigers played in an ugly game on the road in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Saturday but came away with a 13-10 win.

The story of the game was [autotag]Harold Perkins[/autotag]. He tied the school record for most sacks in a game with four and he added two forced fumbles to that stat to make him the first Power Five player since Ohio State’s Chase Young in 2019 to have four sacks and two forced fumbles in one game.

LSU survived the trap game against Arkansas and the Tigers are bringing the Golden Boot back to the Boot.

Stock up from Week 10: Standouts from a stunner in Tiger Stadium against Alabama

The Tigers like ended Alabama’s playoff hopes (and potentially kickstarted their own) on Saturday night in Death Valley.

Let the band play Neck!

The LSU Tigers, in their first season under [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag], have knocked off [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama Crimson Tide. For what seems like the first time this season, LSU didn’t dig themselves into a two or three-touchdown deficit and it paid off.

[autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] once again proved why he is the quarterback LSU needed this year as he put on a clinic running the ball and made great decisions through the air to pace the Tigers’ offense.

Death Valley, where opponents’ dreams come to die. Tiger Stadium lived up to its motto as Alabama’s dreams of another SEC Championship and another appearance in the playoffs were dashed by LSU.

Here’s who shined in the win.

Stock Up, Stock Down from Ole Miss win: It’s Jayden Daniels’ world, we’re just living in it

Here’s how things are trending after Saturday night’s huge upset.

What a day to be a Tigers fan.

LSU welcome an undefeated, top-ten Ole Miss Rebels team to the Bayou and sent them home with jammed weaponry. [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] had a field day against Ole Miss as he was confident and accurate with his passes while he dissected the defense.

He finished the day 21-for-28 passing for 248 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 23 times for 121 yards and three touchdowns. He broke the single-season record for most rushing touchdowns by an LSU quarterback.

The offensive line played well as they paved the way for 500 total yards of offense and the Tiger defense shut down the Rebels in the second half to lead LSU to a huge 45-20 win.

Stock Up, Stock Down: Rough Saturday morning on the Bayou for Tigers

Here’s how things are trending for the Tigers after the loss.

It was not a great morning on the Bayou if you are a fan of LSU.

The Tigers muffed the opening kickoff, giving Tennessee the ball deep in Tiger territory. After that, the route was on for the Volunteers. The Vols racked up 502 total yards led by Hendon Hooker and Bru McCoy. McCoy had seven receptions for 140 yards while Hooker went 17-for-27 for 239 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-13 win.

The LSU passing game was a positive today as they looked much improved from last week. [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] finished the game 32-for-45 for 300 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. LSU will look to rebound from this loss against the Florida Gators next week.

Here’s how things are trending after the loss.

Stock up, stock down following Packers’ win over Lions in Week 2

Who is trending up and who is trending down after the Packers’ Week 2 win over the Lions.

There was no need for a stock watch last week. The Green Bay Packers got whipped, and just about everyone could have fallen in the stock down category.

Nothing like a visit from the lowly Detroit Lions to get the market pointed in the right direction again. The Packers scored 21 straight points in the second half to race past the Lions in the home opener on Monday night.

It’s time for the 2021 debut of the stock watch.

Stock up, stock down after Eagles Week 2 loss to the 49ers

Stock up, stock down after Eagles Week 2 loss to the 49ers

The Eagles suffered a tough 17-11 loss to the 49ers in the 2021 home opener at Lincoln Financial Field in front of a capacity crowd.

The NFL is a what have you done for me lately league and like the stock market or Dow Jones, players can be volatile from week to week.

Here’s our Eagles stock report for Week 2.
