Here’s the first injury report as the Steelers continue prep for Wild Card Week vs. the Bills.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have started practice preparation for their most important game to date of the 2023 season. The Steelers travel to cold and blustery Buffalo this weekend to take on the Bills in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs.

Though the Steelers are without defender T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick was a full practice participant for the first time since injuring his knee in the Week 15 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

No change there, but safety Trenton Thompson was a full participant for the first time since sustaining a neck injury in the Pittsburgh Steelers loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Guard Isaac Seumalo also put in a full practice.

Things could be far worse considering the time of year.

As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for their Week 16 brawl with the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, nine players did not participate or were limited.

It was the first practice of the week, and we’ll have a better idea of who’s playing when the final report is released on Friday.

T.J. Watt & Alex Highsmith (concussion) practiced on Tuesday.

With the Saturday game this week, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ preparation for the Indianapolis Colts matchup began on Tuesday. 10 players showed up on the injury report, but it appears most are precautionary.

Here’s the final injury report leading up to the Steelers-Cardinals matchup.

For the first time this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one guy short of being a fully healthy squad. Minkah Fitzpatrick said today he’ll play on Sunday, and only defensive tackle Montravius Adams (ankle) is questionable. Adams, who hasn’t suited up since playing two snaps versus the Tennessee Titans in Week 9, was limited on Friday after participating fully on Thursday.

Here we go again.

Four new players, including Joey Porter Jr. (calf) and Diontae Johnson (hamstring) were listed on Thursday’s injury report for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It’s unclear whether Johnson’s injury is a re-aggravation of what sidelined him for four games. Porter told Steelers media he’s playing Sunday, so that’s a relief.
