Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield joined some very elite company on Sunday.

With Mayfield’s performance on Sunday, he joined Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for 3,500 yards and 20 touchdowns in each of the first three seasons of their career.

It has been a big bounce back season for Mayfield in Cleveland after his sophomore season was met with loads of criticism as he and the Browns failed to meet lofty expectations that were put upon them. Now, Cleveland is knocking on the door of the postseason if they can just hang on to a eight-point lead in the fourth quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While he will likely be heavily judged for what he does in the playoffs, this is a nice feather in the cap for the Mayfield defenders out there.
