‘Shadow and Bone’ fans are losing it over an emotional support goat named Milo

Come for the fantasy plot, stay for the emotional support goat.

Netflix’s new fantasy series Shadow and Bone premiered on Friday, and everyone’s been talking about the adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s bestselling books, which could be the next big fantasy series.

But it’s not the amazing fantasy world or the compelling characters that has fans talking — although they certainly are — it’s an emotional support goat named Milo that has seemingly stolen the hearts of fans everywhere.

In the third episode of Netflix’s new fantasy series, the Crows — a band of misfits featuring Kaz, Inej and Jesper — decide to cross the Shadow Fold, a dangerous part of the Grishaverse that few cross, which doesn’t go according to plan.

When they’re attacked by a band of dangerous Volcra, a hilarious scene unfolds as Jesper begins freaking out only to turn to Milo the Goat for comfort amidst the chaos. And it seems as if fans have taken to Milo just as quickly and passionately as Jesper did.

Unfortunately, Milo’s presence was short-lived as Jesper gave him up as the Crows continued their journey, which left fans heartbroken.

But have we actually seen the last of Milo? After this reaction from fans, you have to believe Netflix will be looking to reunite Milo with Jesper should the series get a second season. At least that’s what we’re hoping for.

I mean, you can’t go wrong with an emotional support goat.

Shadow and Bone is now streaming on Netflix.
