TV, commentators set for Georgia-Samford game

How can Georgia Bulldogs fans watch the Samford game? And who is commentating the contest?

The highly ranked Georgia Bulldogs host the Samford Bulldogs in Georgia football’s first home game since winning the 2021 national championship. Georgia football plays Samford on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. ET

Samford is coming off a 27-17 win over Kennesaw State. Samford went 4-7 last season, but has an offense capable of putting up some points.

Georgia football’s return to Athens should be a good one. Georgia dominated Oregon in a 49-3 win in Week 1.

The Georgia-Samford game will be televised on the SEC Network. SEC Network commentator Taylor Zarzour will handle the play-by-play. Former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcomb will serve as the analyst for the game. Alyssa Lang will work as the SEC Network’s sideline reporter.

The game can be streamed on SEC Network+. Georgia football fans can listen to the radio broadcast on WSB AM 750 via the Bulldog Network. Georgia football’s radio team of Scott Howard (play-by-play), Eric Zeier (analyst), and DJ Shockley (sideline reporter) does an excellent job of covering the Bulldogs.

The Georgia Bulldogs have not played Samford since 2017, when the Dawgs won 42-14. The 2022 edition of Georgia-Samford will be the second meeting between the two foes.

SEC Network commentators set for UGA at Arkansas

The Georgia Bulldogs will kickoff the college football season against the Arkansas Razorbacks. SEC Network TV commentators are set.

The Georgia Bulldogs will kickoff the college football season (assuming no COVID related cancellation) against the Arkansas Razorbacks this Saturday at 4:00 pm. Kirby Smart and the University of Georgia are traveling to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium to face Sam Pittman and Arkansas.

Georgia will look to open the season strong. The Bulldogs are predicted to topple Arkansas, but Georgia should expect more fight from this year’s version of the Razorbacks.

The SEC Network commentators for the game are set. Dave Neal will handle the play by play and former Georgia Bulldog quarterback D.J. Shockley will be an analyst alongside Neal. Tera Talmadge will take care of the game’s sideline reporting in what should be a unique environment.

Georgia fans will be glad to hear a former Dawg and SEC Champion on the call against the Razorbacks.

Anthony Dasher reported the announcers for the UGA-Arkansas game:

Georgia kicks off against a familiar face this Saturday. Former UGA offensive line coach Sam Pittman will hope to bring the Razorbacks back to respectability after an embarrassing 2-10 campaign in 2019.
