LeBron James says ‘it’s a blessing’ to have wife Savannah in bubble

LeBron James is being joined by his wife but his kids and his mother remain outside of the NBA Bubble.

NBA players inside the bubble had to wait for nearly two months before they would have an opportunity to see their families or other select guests. LeBron James is one of many players who has taken advantage of the opportunity, but the only family member he has visiting him right now is his wife, Savannah, which is something he is very thankful for.

James talked about what it means to him to be able to have his wife with him inside the bubble, but he did say that his children and his mother are both at their respective homes and not currently in the bubble.

Given the pandemic and school starting up again, there could be a variety of reasons for why the whole family isn’t there. Players are also limited to the number of guests they can have right now, but the restrictions will change as the playoffs continue.

However, coaches have been left out of this. Nuggets coach Mike Malone called attention to the fact that coaches aren’t allowed family guests, which LeBron James agreed is not right on the NBA’s part.

LeBron James shares how much he misses his family: ‘So damn much’

LeBron James shared a photo of all the people back home in Los Angeles who he misses after being in Orlando for nearly 2 months.

The challenges of being in the NBA Bubble, particularly the mental drain that the same routine of playing, practice, and testing every other day can cause, especially without the presence of family or even other loved ones, like pets. Lakers guard Danny Green put a voice to those concerns and earlier this week, so did Clippers guard Paul George.

On Saturday, as the NBA gets back to playing games, LeBron James joined in sharing how much he misses his family back at home, posting a collage photo of his three kids and his wife Savannah back in Los Angeles. The past week, where mental health has become even more of a concern, has likely intensified that feeling.

Family members of various teams are reportedly already in quarantine, with the NBA allowing a select group of guests for each player. It’s unclear if LeBron’s wife Savannah and the kids will be joining him. But with the school year close to starting, given how much LeBron and Savannah value education, even if it’s in a social distanced fashion, it would not be a shock if he doesn’t see them until the season ends rather than changing the schedules of his children even more than they already have to due to the pandemic.

Savannah James shares sweet Father’s Day message for LeBron

Savannah James shared some very cute photos of LeBron James with their three kids for Father’s Day.

Aside from fears of the coronavirus and the current movement of protests that have swept the nation in the past few weeks due to police brutality, one of the other things that NBA players will have to consider as they restart their season and prepare to head down to Walt Disney World for as many as 90 days is that for the majority of that time, they will be without their families. On Sunday, Savannah James recognized her husband LeBron James for always being there for their kids, letting him know that he’s “immensely loved and appreciated,” in a heartfelt Instagram message.

LeBron’s buddy Drake also wished LeBron a Happy Father’s Day on his Instagram page, while several other celebrities, including Lala Anthony, shared well wishes to LeBron for Father’s Day.

LeBron on son Bryce’s 13th birthday: ‘Where is the time going?’

LeBron James wished his youngest son Bryce Maximus a happy 13th birthday and expressed how special he is.

While NBA observers are wondering what LeBron James thinks about the resistance to resuming the NBA season from fellow players Kyrie Irving and his Lakers teammate Dwight Howard among others, Sunday wasn’t a day for James to wade into any of that chatter, publicly anyway, because it was much more important day for him: the 13th birthday of his youngest son Bryce Maximus.

On Sunday, James expressed his pride for Bryce and also his disbelief that along with Bronny, LeBron is a father to two teenagers. He shared photos of Bryce throughout the years in his dedication post, in which he encouraged his son to continue being himself.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made sure that the two mothers in his life were recognized by his millions of followers.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James took the time to shine a light on two of the most important people in his life on Sunday, sharing heartfelt messages to his mother Gloria James, as well as his wife, Savannah James, on Mother’s Day, for the role that they have played in his life.

For his mother, Gloria, he still looks at her in awe for all that she did in helping raise him in a difficult in Akron, Ohio before LeBron became one of the greatest players to ever play the game. That feeling of gratitude stays with him even now and he made sure his mom felt love. LeBron also recently gave Gloria credit for helping inspire the creation of the I Promise school in Akron.

Then James shared a message about his wife Savannah and her love, as well as how she leads what LeBron called their “3-headed monster,” aka their three children.

LeBron James shows off his daughter Zhuri’s Harley Quinn outfit

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his daughter have apparently been watching the new Harley Quinn cartoon.

LeBron James has been spending more and more time with his family, which means like for most of us, he’s spending more time watching shows, movies and other things with his family that he hasn’t had the opportunity to do before. And it appears that one of the shows appears to be the James family has stumbled upon is the Harley Quinn animated series, set in the Batman universe, which has received rave reviews. Among those strong reviews is one from the James household and in particular, LeBron’s daughter Zhuri James.

LeBron showed off Zhuri’s Harley Quinn outfit while also shouting Margot Robbie, who has played the role Harley Quinn in several movies.

There’s been a pause on the production of movies and other shows during the coronavirus outbreak, but people have nothing but time to go through movies and shows, if they are available. The James family, or at least the youngest member of it, seems to have found a new favorite.

LeBron James gets help from wife Savannah to trim quarantine beard

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James decided it was finally time to trim his very long quarantine beard with the help of his wife.

During what would under any other circumstances the final week of the regular season for LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers, James finally made a move at home during his quarantine that had been long overdue and likely would have been taken care of if the Lakers were still playing. James shaved his overgrown quarantine beard that had taken on mythic proportions when featured in his kids’ TikTok videos.

Luckily for LeBron, he had an assist with the steady hands of his wife Savannah to cut off the neckbeard that had been growing throughout most of the self-quarantine at the James compound.

It’s hard to find the motivation for such things when you aren’t going to work and aren’t leaving the house but keeping some semblance of a routine is important, even in the absence of all the things that help us keep that routine. Perhaps we will see more of LeBron on IG live now that he’s taken care of the beard.

LeBron James says spending 24/7 time with family is ‘a blessing’

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James told reporters on Wednesday that he’s glad he gets to spend so much time with his family.

Among the ways in which LeBron James is spending his time, between putting himself through rigorous workouts in his home gym or joining his kids on TikTok, one of the things that James has been working on, he told reporters in a Zoom conference call on Wednesday, is expressing gratitude for what he has in his life while also increasing his meditation practice, according to our own Mark Medina of USA TODAY.

To keep himself inspired, James has adhered to a strict routine. He goes to sleep using the Calm App, which plays uplifting stories and inspiring music. He wakes up feeling invigorated because he sees his sons (Bronny, Bryce) and daughter (Zhuri) have what he calls “a positive mindframe.” After eating, practice and training, James has kept himself engaged in other ways. He will meditate for 10-minute intervals. He will complete breathing exercises. He will express gratitude for his various accomplishments and fortunes. He then enjoys free time with his loved ones.

“It’s definitely been a bit of a blessing to be able to be here 24/7 and be here with your family,” James said. “And being able to – I don’t want to say ‘recoup’ the time, because that’s one thing you cannot do. Time waits for no man and you can’t do that. But to be able to appreciate it and be in this moment, it’s been pretty cool. Even though I’ve missed the game of basketball like none other.”

During a time where it’s hard for people to take themselves out of their own situation, expressing gratitude for what is going well is a positive way to deal with the circumstances. Obviously, LeBron misses basketball and it’s hard to blame after the season he had in Year 17, but he knows that he’s getting a chance to do things that he wouldn’t be able to do otherwise.

LeBron is trying to stay positive, as is the rest of the league when it comes to hoping there is some type of way to salvage the 2020 season and eventually crown a 2020 NBA Champion. After missing the playoffs in 2019 for the first time since 2006, James was primed to show what he could do during his first career appearance in the Western Conference playoffs.

Both James and Lakers president Rob Pelinka, as well as several other players and decision-makers, have also expressed their hopes to keep the possibilities open when it comes to figuring out some way to close out the season, without live fans in attendance.

Zhuri again steals the show in LeBron James Family TikTok dance

LeBron James and his family have been busy on TikTok during the quarantine, dropping another last night with daughter Zhuri leading the way.

During the current NBA hiatus, NBA players have gravitated to several different activities to spend their now seemingly endless time at home. A lot have taken to playing more video games, streaming and playing with other players, going on Instagram Live more often, or joining TikTok. In the case of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, TikTok is something he’s been involved in for a while now thanks to his kids. Even though James himself says that his kids have him looking like a ‘damn fool’ in the videos, he’s ever the good sport when they recruit him to be in an all-family video.

James and his long beard joined with the family last night, where his daughter Zhuri stole the show on his son Bryce’s TikTok page as they did a dance to Drake’s new TikTok-centric song “Tootsie Slide.”

LeBron’s own statements about the TikTok’s have also been fodder for some good jokes.

Bronny James enlists whole family for James Family TikTok

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his family are staying busy by helping their son Bronny make TikTok videos.

LeBron James and his family are doing their best to keep themselves entertained as they self-quarantine. LeBron has resorted to watching old games, even ones from high school, while also going on Instagram Live for the first time and answering questions from fans. His son Bronny has also managed to keep the family busy by enlisting various members of the family to join in TikTok challenges. On Saturday night, with everyone still at home again, Bronny got the entire James family to participate in one of the latest TikTok challenges, which has also been done by Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, and their family.

Bronny himself has already generated a strong following on TikTok, having 2.1 million followers, in large part because of he and his brother Bryce posting videos pretty often, as well as their adorable sister Zhuri. Bryce also has a TikTok account, but they deem it the James Family account, meaning that it’s managed by LeBron and Savannah. Bronny also stayed busy last night playing Call of Duty with a bunch of NBA players.
